I'm not a radfem but LGB was originally about sexuality.... Nothing else. Yes, the T was added because being transgender often came with sex/sexuality based discourse/conversation (fair), but adding race into the flag literally makes no sense. Especially for straight people...of any color. They're not a part of this. Not being white isn't the same as being gay..... at all. The LGBT flag already includes people who aren't white anyway. The flag is for ALL LGBT people.

It has always given "I must be included in every single oppression related movement and make it revolve around race instead of what it is SUPPOSED to revolve around.... or I shall call you the BUZZWORDS!!" ... This post being a prime example.

Understanding that LGBT already includes people who aren't white and keeping the conversation on the intended topics, sexuality (and gender), doesn't mean you don't want non white people to have rights and it definitely doesn't make you a NeoNazi. It's like... Literally the opposite.

ive never understood separating sports by men/women. "oh well its bc men are inherently stronger!!1!!1" first, no they arnt lmao. but more importantly, since you care so much about the integrity of sports, separate them by strength then. like separate them by the best, the pretty good, the okay, and the bad or smthn. and geuss what dipshit. they already do that. but instead of doing it well, all it says is men strong woman weak.

Men are absolutely stronger than women biologically when you directly compare athletes. There will always be the extreme example, the outlier, but 99.9% of the time this will remain a direct fact.

Sports such as boxing and weight lifting already have strength, weight, etc. categories yet males still absolutely DOMINATE when put up against women. It's not about being "good vs bad", it's basic biological knowledge.

Women fought SO. HARD. to be recognized as professional athletes, to be given their own spaces to compete free of male intervention, and they deserve to keep it.

If we want to start offering mixed teams to athletes then fine, whenever; but females absolutely deserve their own spaces when the alternative clearly puts them at a direct disadvantage, even in DANGER, depending on the sport. I think we should all be able to agree on that.

i get what u mean. like men are stronger than women usually, but 1 men are much much much more likely to be doping than women. and 2, i literally said that we shouldnt be putting the strongest men with the weakest women. thats fucked i think we both agree

but my point is that there is a lot of women who are way better than men at sports and arnt recognized bc "oh well theyre competing in the womens league". womens sports are hated on and ignored so fucking much. having all mixed leagues that are separated by actual skill/strength, instead of womens/mens would literally make women athletes more recognized.

forcing women to go through genital inspections or intrusive hormone tests bc they look a little to masc is not only fucking disgusting, but also fuckes over cis women who just have higher testosterone levels.

I would agree that it's unfair for women to not get the recognition they deserve and inspections like that are horrible.... but I also don't believe making mixed leagues are the solution.

The amount of testing every single athlete would have to do to make sure that they are of equal strength to go against each other (in a male vs female sense) would just be ridiculous, especially in a team setting. Also men have other potential advantages that aren't just muscle mass, such as larger hearts (can pump blood and oxygen faster), that we can't really do direct comparisons for.

I can support offering the option of mixed teams, for those who choose to participate, but overall teams should always have remaining separate options for all the points listed.

I really hate saying this, but I feel like a lot of those bisexual/queer identified women are actually straight and only think they're bi because they view women as sex objects. I've known so many of these types who talk about how hot women are online and objectify them, yet they only date men offline and seem to be uncomfortable actually having sex with another woman. I would argue that this can stem a lot more from heteronormative views being placed onto a lot of women, rather than just viewing women as objects. This can also interfere with speaking on their sexuality outside the internet and feeling uncomfortable about sex.
