thinking about the time they sent me a seven year old autistic patient to investigate if he was suffering abuse because in every psychological test he kept drawing awful monsters

In the light of the recent reveal of David Starr’s past behaviour, but more particularly in light of his attempts to justify & excuse rather than admit fault and apologise, I have a good few old posts I’ll be deleting from my blog.

I won’t ever deny that I was a fan. I was won over by his charm and capability in the ring and by the talent he had to captivate a crowd with his story telling skills, but there is no place for admiration here any longer. The companies that have stripped him of their championships have been absolutely right to do so.

I can only hope that his collaborators in the drive for unionisation are able to carry on that incredibly important work without him and that his personal failings won’t impact them.
