Sunset, Piha
Spent the afternoon at Piha with my sister and cousin. We swam in the blue water with the undertow eventually dragging us back to shore. Returning to our towels, we each fell asleep in the drifting sun waiting for it to set.
I woke up to whispers from U.K. visitors sat behind us, so I started to read a book my sister brought for me. When it began to get cold, we wrapped up and headed to Adey’s Place to grab some hot chips.
We headed to a shelter on the beach, it started to drizzle and so we packed up and headed home. As we headed up the Waitakere Ranges to make our exit, this little glow peeked through the clouds.
