Eternally bitter Tony never got the friendship he deserved with Natasha or Clint. when you think about it, marvel kinda messed up with only giving us little scenes of the OG6 being friends.
honestly, tony never got the friendship he deserved with any of the avengers. like yeah, he had a few moments with some of them, but they never really showed him really developing his relationships with any of them the way they did for thor+bruce, steve+nat, nat+clint, etc. he was always a bit of a lone wolf and it breaks my heart tbh.

#tony was always the outsider tbh#he was never truly part of the team in the same way the rest were#he was literally rejected from the avengers initiative in im2#and it always felt like they rly only tolerated him on the team bc he had all the money & tech they all needed#they never treated him w the same level of respect as they did each other#he was always singled out as the bad guy in every situation by them#never given the benefit of the doubt. never trusted. never appreciated. never loved.#and yet he still gave them every piece of himself - his tech. his home. his devotion. his love. his LIFE.#he deserved so much better.
