I know it's been talked about before but I still don't think it's been emphasized how *fucked* today's internet experience is for children. I didn't know what the word "discourse" was when I was 8, or 10, or even 13. I was too busy playing the nigh-limitless amount of flash games out there on the internet and making sure my neopets were fed. Like I cannot stress enough that if I had free time on the computer, 9 times out of 10 I could go and play a jaunty little game someone had whipped up and put out there for no other reason than that creating games was awesome and easy to do. Or go to some page that existed just to collect memes; you see back then there were more than 4 sites, and you didn't need accounts to visit them. I didn't get targeted ads. I wasn't exposed to any sort of political ideology. I spent a lot of time on the computer but no one site monopolized my time or tried to fucking manipulate me into using it more. The internet was for more than one thing back then, and honestly I don't think enough people realize how much has been stolen from us.

If you can get the lab up to 7 equipment you can make one that way. (Although you might need fate for 6 to 7? I don’t remember)
although the easiest option is probably giving orphans to the tigers for tribute and then trading that in at the court of the wakeful eye for searing enigmas. And then pray to rng gods.
This was the worst part for me too. Every thing else is just an echo grind to buy the cipher rings, the gun and the boots. The chessboard win condition is easy so long as you don’t want stalemate.

i have the enigmas! mostly my issue is gathering sudden insights for my fails lol! and thats nice to hear lol! was worried abt more big grinds
Oh! Insights are best got through cards. Use the go to your lab and then back out trick to refresh your deck. Best card is probably the gift card and choosing “a gift for myself” or whatever.
I may have uh found out of you have Exactly enough insights. And use one. You won’t have enough to do the second chance if you fail so. It doesn’t. Use an enigma.

behold… (very low res i am sorry) candles the honduran white bat using this pattern! he’s quite a bit rounder in person and overall i am very pleased with how soft he is. i would like to make him some sort of cute bead necklace eventually but for now a bow will have to do
