You can only use each effect of this card’s name once per turn.
(1) If a face-up Field Spell is on the field: You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 “Malefic Parallel Gear” from your Deck, then add 1 “Malefic” monster from your Deck to your hand, except “Malefic Parallel Gear”.
(2) If you would banish a monster to Special Summon a “Malefic” monster from your hand using its own procedure, you can banish this card from your field or GY instead.
20TH-JPC14 方界降世 Houkai Kouse (Cubic Ascension) Normal Trap Card You can only use the 2nd effect of this card’s name once per turn. (1) Activae when your oppponent’s monster declares an attack: Special Summon 1 “Vijam the Cubic Seed” from your Deck, then change the target of that attack to that monster and proceed to damage calculation. (2) If your opponent’s LP is at least 2000 higher than yours: You can banish this card from your GY; Special Summon 1 “Vijam the Cubic Seed” from your hand, Deck or GY. If only your opponent controlled monsters when this effect was activated, you can also Special Summon up to 2 more “Vijam the Cubic Seed”.
20TH-JPC18 Houkai Engi (Cubic Omen) Normal Trap Card You can only use the (1)st and (2)nd effects of this card’s name each once per turn each. (1) Place a number of Cubic Counters up to the number of “Cubic” monsters you control on face-up monsters your opponent controls. A monster with a Cubic Counter on it it cannot attack and its effects are negated. (2) You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 “Cubic” monster you control; for the rest of this turn, each time that monster you control destroys a monster that has a Cubic Counter on it by battle, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the original ATK of the destroyed monster.

Update: State of FYYCA
Since several people have asked, in one form or another (If I have a Twitter, if I’m moving FYYCA elsewhere) , I’ll address some brief updates here:
1) First off, hopefully to no one’s dismay, I’m not going anywhere and will be keeping things here on Tumblr. Despite this whole shitshow new Tumblr policy and my own thoughts on it, it generally doesn’t affect FYYCA (though I think they briefly flagged a post in my queue, which I think was Summon Dice [would have been more amusing if they flagged Hip Hoshiningen…]). Apologies to those that have to leave Tumblr and that situation, but for now, it makes more sense for me to stay here (unless things become untenable, in which case I guess we’ll figure that step out then)…
2) As we approach the end of the year, expect several theme days on the horizon, including a Christmas and New Year’s day theme and a anime card art themed-day.
That’s more-or-less it for now. If any of you have any further questions, feel free to send them to the Inbox and I’ll try to respond quickly enough. For now, after being on call 4 times in the past 12 days (including last evening), I’m gonna go watch last night’s TLC show (thank god I haven’t spoiled myself accidentally yet) and work on the Queue for this week while playing Black Rover / Megalo Box’s OP + ED / Fighting Gold on repeat.
