I just had a nightmare where I was playing a very cool open world game but there were some special rules to follow, like don't open this one specific chest in the back room of this merchant's house.
However, I thought I needed the item inside for the main story, so I did break that rule and Todd Howard, consisting of scrapbook bits of photos of himself, appeared and send an endless army of literal bugs after me which in hindsight is the funniest shit. I managed to stay ahead of them because I had a really good built with air dodges and shit, got in a car and sped off, but eventually Todd just crashed the whole game and as I was motionless, he gave me a nefarious smile and shot a white glowing orb at me.
At this point I said "yeah alright, let's just get it over with so I can wake up." Suddenly knowing I was in a dream. The orb hit me and exploded in a blinding light, aaand then I "woke up" but had a bit of sleep paralysis to finish it off. Thanks Todd.
