Today I found a beautiful girl in distress, down a window well. She spent the day down there and was very thirsty so I gave her water and fed her before setting her free. I will miss her!

this picture is the epitome of wrinkled disgruntlement. this is the perfect example of the expression “disgust” at its highest level. honestly? this photo is a work of art.
A nice, chunky Colorado river toad [also known as the Sonoran Desert toad, Incilius alvarius] enjoying some cool sand. These toads are popular as pets due to their enormous size and placid natures. This captive specimen lives in the Netherlands, and was photographed by Ellen van Yperen.
