I think people forget just how starved we writers are for feedback. Like every time someone tells me how much they liked my writing or how it touched them I do an internal breakdance while crying for five minutes straight.
I go into shock and just stare at the feedback numbly until it finally sinks in and I realize I did good. Then I start to cry, in a good way. Feedback means a lot to us writers guys. You gotta remember we chose to spend our lives dealing with words. Just a few sent back towards us, about how you feel about our work feeds our starving souls. We can say we think our work is good until we’re blue in the face, but we rarely ever believe it until someone else says it. Feel free to send feedback to your favorite writers, we love it.
