8 vegetables that you can regrow again and again.

Scallions

You can regrow scallions by leaving an inch attached to the roots and place them in a small glass with a little water in a well-lit room.

Garlic

When garlic begins to sprout, you can put them in a glass with a little water and grow garlic sprouts. The sprouts have a mild flavor than garlic and can be added to salads, pasta and other dishes.

Bok Choy

Bok choy can be regrown by placing the root end in water in a well-lit area. In 1-2 weeks , you can transplant it to a pot with soil and grow a full new head.

Carrots

Put carrot tops in a dish with a little water. Set the dish in a well-lit room or a window sill.  You’ll have carrot tops to use in salads.

Basil

Put clippings from basil with 3 to 4-inch stems in a glass of water and place it in direct sunlight. When the roots are about 2 inches long, plant them in pots to and in time it will grow a full basil plant.

Celery

Cut off the base of the celery and place it in a saucer or shallow bowl of warm water in the sun. Leaves will begin to thicken and grow in the middle of the base, then transfer the celery to soil.

Romaine Lettuce

Put romaine lettuce stumps in a ½ inch of water. Re-water to keep water level at ½ inch. After a few days, roots and new leaves will appear and you can transplant it into soil.

Cilantro

The stems of cilantro will grown when placed in a glass of water. Once the roots are long enough, plant them in a pot in a well-lit room. You will have a full plant in a few months.

Get your infinite food exploit out of here you cheater. People like you ruin the survival horror experience.

Stimulate Hair Growth

  1. Peppermint Oil: With a fresh aroma, this strongly concentrated oil must be diluted before applying the scalp. It penetrates the scalp and stimulates the hair follicle, allowing for more oxygen production that gives your curls the green light to grow.
  2. Lavender Oil: This sweet smelling product has antibacterial properties that keep the scalp clean and the pores open. It helps to reduce issues that can prevent hair from growing like excessive dandruff.
  3. Rosemary Oil: Hailed as one of the most effective oils in hair growth, rosemary oil is known for its scalp stimulating properties. It gets the blood circulating in your scalp, which also assists with thinning edges and balding spots. Tip: Try diluting this essential oil with jojoba oil and gently massaging it into your scalp.
  4. Stinging Nettle: This herb does double duty. Allowing stinging nettle oil to sit in your hair overnight can help combat hair loss and also give your curls a boost in the growth department. The nutrients help regenerate the hair and prevent the overproduction of DHT, a hormone that contribute to hair loss. Tip: You can purchase this herb in oil form and leave it on overnight or make a tea and use it as a rinse.
  5. Jamaican Black Castor Oil: It can be incredibly frustrating to have a nice, full head of curls with noticeably thinning edges due to heat usage, over-styling, or other types of damage. Now that you know how to treat your hair better, you can make amends by applying Jamaican black castor oil to your trouble zones. As with any remedy, patience is required but if you are persistent about using it, the thickness of your edges will return. (Learn more about Castor Oil Here)
  6. Aloe Vera: This mega hair growth stimulant is jam-packed with more than 20 minerals and an abundance of vitamins like A, C, and E (just to name a few). It helps hair grow by reducing the overproduction of sebum – an oily substance that your scalp secretes. Excessive sebum can slow hair growth by clogging your pores. Because it is an antibacterial, aloe vera works by zapping that oily build-up and allowing your pores to breathe.
  7. Sage Oil: This oil increases blood circulation to your hair follicle. It also aids in controlling excessive sebum from the scalp. If your curls are limp and your strands aren’t growing, sage oil might be the move for you.
  8. Onion Juice: The smell might be less than pleasant to some (or most) but this DIY treatment has been used for ages and for a good reason – it works! Thanks to its high sulfur content, it is incredibly effective in stimulating and increasing your blood circulation.
  9. Apple Cider Vinegar: When your scalp is battling build-up, trying to get your curls to grow is an uphill battle. Product build-up, dirt, and grime all contribute to disrupting your scalp’s natural pH levels and effecting growth. Restore balance and stimulate hair growth with an ACV rinse following your shampoo. It will leave your hair soft and give it shine. (The Scoop on Vinegar)
  10. Eggs are full of all of the major essential vitamins and minerals (except for C) including zinc, iron and selenium. Tip: Try beating an egg and applying it to your hair in order to increase oxygen and blood production to the scalp. This application also assist in healthy cell division. Rinse it out after 20 minutes with cold water (warm water makes it curdle and stick to your hair) and shampoo.
  11. Give it a few tries in order to gauge results.
  12. Eggs are also a great help for those with high porosity hair. Check out this Rum and Egg Hair Recipe if you have difficulty sustaining moisture in your strands.

Lovelace Wigs is a small black, woman owned company. I do all of my photo shoots, marketing, web designs, literally everything, and I’ve most recently started doing my own customer service again. This is a one woman show, and I work so hard on trying to create the perfect business.

A simple reblog can help me grow my business to where I can have employees to help with the work load I have everyday! I have the potential to be so much better but my main issue is having so many orders and not enough hands to help with packaging and customer service. Once I am able to save enough coins from my sales, I’ll be on my way to getting a larger office and hiring at least two employees by October. Below is a what a weekends worth of orders looks like. A lot to keep up with!

One of my customers might be on your dashboard! Reblog to support a growing black woman owned business!

Juneteenth: 153 Years Ago...

The slaves in America were freed.

That’s 1865.

Civil Rights started 90 years later. That’s 1954.

In theory, it’s possible that your great-grandparents were alive when slavery ended.

So in order for you to say “legalized slavery in the United States ended 400 years ago”… wait until 2265… if you’re alive at the time.

P.S. - see the “legalized slavery in the United States part”? I put that there because some of you would love to try and derail the post to say “slavery isn’t over” when that was not the original point.

#Messiah @LouisFarrakhan warns “There will be 3 HARD Years Believers that we will have to endure.

But one year will be HARDER than ALL the rest.

And the Bible says if those days were not shortened, for Gods Elect sake, not one soul would be left alive on the earth.

You’re going to witness an awful lot of bloodshed.

You will witness FAMINE like you have never seen.

The scriptures say you will look at your little fat babies, with the thought in mind, of eating your own children.

That’s how Terrible the Famine is going to be.

All of this, does not have to happen. That’s the beauty. I could not leave you without saying there is still hope.

The enemy is so angry with God with his growing loss of prestige and power that he is determined to take every one of us down with him. He set the white male on you (sisters) and he set the white female on you ( brothers)

He knew that God wanted you to separate. And out of his rebelliousness he said, let’s force integration. Integration is nothing more than a trick, they never intended to integrate you into power. But they want to trick you into thinking they have changed. And some of you silly Brothers and Sisters think, ‘oh well it’s all over the white man has change, he’s reformed he’s better now.’ So God is going to show you that he’s the same as he was six thousand years ago.

That man is so wicked, knowing that God would give him a respite, (extra time) if he would do justice by you. Instead of doing justice by you he’s tricking you. Oh man, just look at him Brothers and Sisters, this man is so wicked, rather than give you up so that you can do God’s Work, and repent of his evils done to you and the Native Americans, he would rather kill BOTH people.” Divine Destruction of America

21-year-old Baltimore Country man dies after being beaten up by police officers.

Tawon Boyd, a 21-year-old man from Essex, Maryland, was hospitalized after a fight with police, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police were called at 3AM on Sunday to the first block of Akin Circle in Middle River on a report of a disturbance. Boyd was found “confused and paranoid, sweating heavily.”

According to the police Boyd refused to obey orders and began fighting officers, but victim’s family and Deona Styron, his fiance, tell a different story:

“He on the ground, 5 other officers on top of him, and not only that, one police officer got his arm around his neck like this, punching him, punching, him and throughout the whole thing he’s like I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe…”

There is no way you can twist this story to justify the police beating this kid to death. Police were called to help, but they ended up killing the guy. There is no excuse - they’re supposed to serve and protect and they have to be able to deal with all kinds of people. Not everyone is mentally stable, not everyone is white, but that does not give you the right to beat them to death!

DAMN ANOTHER ONE

MEET THE GENIUS BUSH FAMILY; TEENS HAVE MASTER’S DEGREES, MOM IS ATTORNEY AND ARCHITECT

It has to be America’s most amazing family. Meet the Bushes from South Florida overachievers who stand at the ready to serve their country. Gisla and Bobby Bush have 9 children, who are some of the brightest young minds in the US.

Three of the oldest had graduated from college while they were still teenagers.

Gabrielle Bush graduated from college with a Bachelor’s Degree in health administration at 18. At 19 she received her Master’s Degree in public administration.

Grace Bush graduated from high school and college in the same week at 16. At 18 she earned her Master’s Degree in public administration.

Gisla Bush was only 18 when she graduated from college with a Bachelor’s Degree in urban design.

Other children are home-schooled as the rest of the family. All of them play musical instruments.

Their mom was asked about the secret source:

I bet you haven’t heard about this family that raise prodigy kids. The media always keep silent about successful Black people.

That’s why representation matters.

[ image is a picture of Ronald Reagan in black and white and transparent grey text above that says, “introducing crack cocaine into black American neighbourhoods was chemical warfare too.” ]

Crack fucking devastated communities and the help of the devastation came mostly from police using crack as an excuse to basically bulldoze predominantly poor black neighbourhoods.

Why? Because there were uprisings happening and people were organizing against the State’s white supremacy and oppression.

Reaganomics also helped create the skyrocketing unemployment in the 80′s and because people were a lot more poor, expensive drugs did not sell so the batch was recreated to sell back on the market for profit.

“As the land border became more tightly controlled, cocaine would be shipped via the Caribbean and the Bahamas and end up in Miami. The Contra rebels were in full flow in Nicaragua, and reportedly the CIA turned a blind eye to the rebels exporting significant amounts of cocaine for funding.”
It proliferated in these poorer, often African American, communities, and people quickly found that the intense fifteen-minute high was incredibly addictive. People started to do anything for their next hits. Crime rose significantly thanks to this new drug, and homicides more than doubled among teenagers and twenty-somethings.”

@Blavity Yes, they do exist however I’ve noticed that once our entertainers & athletes reach the age were they are no longer profitable the system of #WhiteSupremacy finds a way of siphoning their money back into the hands of whites. They use scandal-Cosby, drugs-Prince, & the IRS-Snipes
