God, we’re going through a parvo phase at the moment. Despite all the meds and intensive care and support, outcomes have been pretty poor so far. Ugh.

Parvo has been bananas this year. It spread like wildfire in shelter despite my anal retentive cleaning that hadn't changed in five years. There are so many measures we've taken that didn't stop it from spreading. We ended up with 108 puppy cases and 13 adult dog cases overall since May. Two of them were fully vaccinated before they got it

Did the virus recently mutate or something?

Oh my GOD, 108!! But yes we’ve had a fair few adult cases too! One fully vacc’d and another just shy a week of being due his 1st yearly booster.

We’ve actually been having the convo at work about potential mutations. We used to have a pretty good run and outcomes with parvo but in the last year or so, it’s just been shocking.

Apparently it has. We have a new strain from south Korea and it is killing all our small wild felids

We've had a whole bunch of cases in recent months--often fully vaccinated adult dogs, most cases due for a booster in two or three month's time--and even though they were relatively light, the general uptick in cases has been noticeable, ESPECIALLY in vaccinated dogs.

We always saw parvo regularly in our region due to illegal puppy trade, but this has been something new, and we've been speculating about a mutation as well.

Dragon Age Inquisition Original Game Score

A silly fun little project I've been working on for the past few months while I've been replaying Dragon Age Inquisition with my 1st timeline Inquisitor.

It always bothers me when video games get an official soundtrack release and it turns out to be somewhat lackluster. In DAI's case, the official soundtrack was missing some of the best pieces, while other tracks had been re-mastered in a strange way (adding extra instruments, removing instruments, and incurring many more victims of the loudness war).

So, I extracted some audio files from the game using Frosty Tools, and set about trying to rebuild a proper score tracklist. My goal was to aim for something that more closely adheres to the music that is actually heard in the game, using my own gameplay clips as reference for what plays when and in what order. With perhaps a bit of creative freedom for fun and whimsy.

Tracks assembled and edited in Mixcraft 9 Recording Studio. Tags edited with MP3Tag.

Now including scores for The Descent and Trespasser DLCs as well. Might do a "misc" album later on for the few tracks that didn't make the cut.
