I feel like SNW writers created this amazing character with Pelia. But they have no idea at all what to do with her.
Exactly! It makes no sense for them to create this character and make her an immortal if they don’t really do anything with it.
Her part in the time travel adventure was so insignificient that the story would have worked pretty much the same without her. And considerung she doesn’t even remember having La’an met in the past and neither adress their meeting afterwards, her appearance feels very superfluous.
The same goes for her backstory with Amanda which feels a lot like nothing but random throw away lines. Why even allude to a connection between them if the show isn’t willing to explore it and doesn’t even have Pelia on the ship when Amanda came to visit so that they could interact?
SPOCK: We are separating fissile isotopes at high speeds; the chance of an explosion is down to a coin flip. I find myself… curious about chance.

Not that im complaining, but why the fuck is Jim Kirk back on the Enterprise for the musical ep? Doesnt he have first officer duties now? Also, hes dancing with Una? Is their song about how much they love their jobs?

I love how every time Spock smiled during this episode, it was framed like a shot from a horror film. And truly, it was terrifying.
