Soo, let's talk about a Lion King AU. I was thinking about Shiro being Simba, Allura is Nala. Keith would be Kovu and Lance is Kiara (you see the Lion King 2 right?), and Pidge is Timon and Hunk is Pumba. What do you think 'bout it? (sorry disurb)

I fucking ADORE Disney AU’s and I honestly think the Lion King 2 is sooo underrated. And the characters you matched up?? SO PERFECT.

I can so easily picture Shiro being super overprotective of Lance and not wanting to let him out of his sight and sending Pidge and Hunk to watch over him. And Lance would definitely be a little shit who totally disobeys Shiro just because he wants to explore. And the slightly one sided (but totally not) rivalry between Keith/Kovu and Kiara/Lance is just so accurate.

Pidge as Timon is KILLIN me. that line near the beginning of the movie where Pumba falls on Kiara and Timon is like “Let me define, BABYSITTING”. Fucking. On. Point.

And poor Keith growing up in that super rough environment in the badlands is just too real. And the Galra!Keith headcanon fits so well with this AU, like, is Kovu going to be good, or is he going to be evil?

I know I’m jumping around here a lot, but also that song Simba sings at the beginning of the movie, “we are one”? SO PERFECT for a Voltron AU. (Also, I’m a little ashamed to admit it, but his voice for that song? It does THINGS to me.)

Also, this means that Nala/Allura is a total boss and can take down Shiro/Simba so easily. “Pinned ya!” Like, yaas. This is what I’m here for.

I know I probably have a lot more to say about this, but it’s 4am and my mind is all over the place. But man, thank you so much for this. It’s so perfect. I can’t fucking handle it. You’re the real mvp, my friend. Bless.
