You’re ill at ease. Adventurous people are always a little ill at ease. They’re shy. They aren’t bold the way people think they are. They go stumbling about, breaking things, being scolded. Always looking for a place they’ll feel they’ll belong. They have that crooked look. Of not really matching anything.

Angry, and half in love with you, and tremendously sorry, I turned away.

So you look for patterns because that’s what humans do to try and make sense of things. In hope of some divine order. And you look in movies and songs and the things that you read for symbols, points and swirls that match your own. But the only real pattern there is, is the one you make when you hold up a mirror. And reflect.

I think I’m at the point where I’ve liked you for so long that it’s just an automatic response for me.I don’t know if I really still do, but whenever someone says your name, my heart beats faster.I still get jealous and you still have the power to ruin my entire day; but I have a feeling that’s just the way it’s gonna be for a while. I know I need to move on, I just don’t know if I can. I’m not strong enough to move away from the one amazing person that’s been on my mind forever. So do you think you could please make this easy and just love me back?

It was very violent, I didn’t know where to go until I couldn’t go anywhere else. Inside myself. I had to surrender, you have to die in a way. It’s an abdication of yourself. You have to give yourself to a force which is not you. Life goes not forward, but inward.
