@tiesandtea

you can always start over. you can always catch up. you can still be who you dream of being. it’s not too late for you.

After few weeks of holiday I am going to start work tomorrow 🥲 so let me finish a quick doodle of my favorite man hehe hehe. For some reason I don't draw on the past few months that might be the reason why I forget to do one 🤣🤣🤣 I have few WIPs from last year that I might continue later.

Been following Suede updates and just found out if Mat were not on stage last night. It was a bummer but we have Neil with Mat's bass 🥲🥲🥲

Brett on keys with Neil on bass is kinda romantic though 🥰🥰🥰

I hope Mat doing okay. Neil on bass is such a rare sight, but it still looks empty without Mat 🥲

Mat was back at the next gig in Stockholm and he seemed well :)

there’s a video of (almost) the whole gig in Helsingør here:

Suede have announced details of the ninth studio album, Autofiction.

Taking in 11 tracks, the record was produced by long-time Suede collaborator Ed Buller and saw the group “go back to basics,” working on it from a recording studio in London’s Kings Cross. To mark the album’s announcement, the band have unveiled lead track ‘She Still Leads Me On’, which you can listen to above. The track is inspired by Brett Anderson’s mother, whose life was previously celebrated in his memoirs Coal Black Mornings and Afternoons With The Blinds Drawn.

Speaking about the new album, Suede’s Brett Anderson said in a statement: “Autofiction is our punk record. No whistles and bells. Just the five of us in a room with all the glitches and fuck-ups revealed; the band themselves exposed in all their primal mess. Autofiction has a natural freshness, it’s where we want to be.”

Bassist Mat Osman added: “When we were rehearsing and writing this record it was this sheer, physical rush. That thing where you’re hanging on for dear life.”

Tonight’s performance of the new song during Suede’s gig at Brussels’ Cirque Royal will be live-streamed on the band’s website from 8.20pm BST. You can also find pre-order details for Autofiction, along with information on two live dates scheduled for October at Camden’s Electric Ballroom, on the website.

BMG will release Autofiction on September 16, 2022.
