Mainly TOS Spirk, please follow my fic rec blog @tosthylafics

Hahaha what is this Jim actually thinks Spock will follow through, none too secure with this particular human, huh, Spock?

Spock did what for his last birthday? The fucking lengths he went to, that is the most beautiful, thoughtful and thought through gift ever. A private safe space just for them, comfort, distraction, quality time together…. this is why Vulcans can actually be amazing partners in this universe

if Spock knew his Kirk. And he did.

Thoughtful!!! my fucking heart

… incredibly logical, Spock… good job on the …. logic here

ah yes he whispered silkenly as you do

oh so this is a regular occurrence?

we get it you’re gay you can stop flirting

FYI fam Nichelle Nichols wrote this and it was approved by Gene Roddenberry, his name as well as the entire TOS cast has their names printed on the cover. It's the second officially licensed Star Trek book and it isn't even the most slashy entry in the collection.

I’m sorry but are you kidding me? The LOOKS kirk and spock give each other at the end of dagger of the mind in s1?! are you for real?? jim’s just revealed he could understand dying of loneliness since he’d felt the emptying effects of the neural neutralizer and the FIRST PERSON HE LOOKS AT AFTER HE SAYS IT IS SPOCK?! this “unfeeling” Vulcan who immediately makes him smile and reminds him he won’t be subjected to the same fate?! they’re not even hiding it y’all. like…who ALLOWED this to be made?! I am going feral, absolutely feral

I'm thrilled every time a new (fairly new?) fan finds the original Star Trek series! Like Kirk and Spock are just as new today in 2023 as they were in 1966. Fifty-seven years ago! Though it shouldn't be surprising- don't we still read Shakespeare and of Orpheus and Eurydice? Alexander and Hephaestion? Love always wins.

When I rewatched The Deadly Years I stopped functioning for a moment because I didn’t remember anything about some scenes, so when Jim appeared shirtless in his quarters I thought “LOL what if he contacted Spock like this just like he did (twice) in The Corbomite Maneuver, wouldn’t it be funny? Hahaha”

And then I kept watching and

Are you. Fucking. Kidding me.

STAR TREK CREATOR CHALLENGE Episode or Film that Got You into Star Trek ↳ Star Trek: The Original Series (1966-69) :

“The Trouble With Tribbles” [02.15]

The second gif is actually horrifying, considering the experience Kirk went through on Tarsus IV as a child. Starvation, then execution of half of the 8000 Earth colonists. I love the episode "The Conscience of the King", both for its intricate plot, and for how quickly Spock realizes Jim is acting strangely.

hey everyone! I’m gonna try out doing a raffle. if this is successful I want to do some bigger stuff! keep reading for more info below the cut.
