Joseph, he/him, 17. AO3: thunderpetal. I like writing and I like music. I come here when school isn’t beating my ass. Current interests: Spiderverse and Linked Universe

My name is Joseph, and I also go by Jay! I’m a minor from the UK and I love to talk and write about LoZ. Currently, I’m also obsessed with Heartstopper and The Owl House.

My AO3 is the same as here, thunderpetal, and I’m writing Linked Universe and The Owl House rn. Fave LU boys are Wind and Time. I would do Anything for them.

I also have Instagram, @/thunderpetals

Absolutely no bigotry is tolerated on this blog, and this goes double for transphobia. I am a young trans man living in the UK and I encounter far too much transphobia irl daily to put up with transphobia on TUMBLR DOT COM of all places. You will be blocked.

I do not like fandom discourse and I will not discuss it. I don’t care what you ship, as long as it makes you happy. I am slow at replying to asks but I get to them eventually! I’m always down to chat and make new friends/mutuals :D

Yeah heartstopper was great. Better than the first season. I cried a little bit at the end

Also the last episode had such an Uneasy vibe at the end, like they used ur so pretty by wasia project to PERFECTION bc it just was like!!! Nick and charlie are soo in love haha (ignore how much charlie hates himself). Idk i think it was a perfect lead in to the darker topics s3 will go into. S1 ended on a lovely joyful note and this one… not quite so much. It felt a bit more real and messy. Ugh s3 is gonna HURT but i love the vibes already. If u havent got it already i like the fact i felt uneasy at the end i think it was a purposeful choice and everything just came together to create to be like ‘ah… not everything is well in the world is it’

Cannot wait for s3!!!!

I was watching a few clips from the Spider-Verse movies and noticed something very interesting, that plays into the movies themes.

When Miguel explains what the Spider-Verse is, he describes as fragile tapestry that revolves around the "Canon" of all Spider-People. That it must be under constant care - his care - or it will unravel and all the Multiverse with it.

But when Miles - and we - got a glimpse of the Spider-Verse when he stopped the collider, it is this infinitely expanding and incomprehensible thing that's clearly bigger than any single person or group of people. A web of infinite possibilities that could never be contained by a single person's life.

PS: I don't say all of this to smack talk Miguel, nor do I think he and the people of Spider-Society are evil. They're misguided and lost touch with what it means to be Spider-Man. And believing the tragedies they went through is part of some greater cosmic wheel brings them comfort. It's part of what makes them such great foils to Miles and the Spider-Band.
