They say it’s harder to love someone who doesn’t love themselves at all because you have to put every inch of your breathing flesh into them and mold stones in their bones so they can shine through their eyes like the night skies, but then you won’t look at the stars anymore because your whole universe is carved right in their face. He’ll be eighteen with shaky knees and kiss you to spread poison through your lips and then leave you when you’re almost impossible to fix. You’ll never call it quits though or stop staring at him because no one can compare. I’ll write these words for you until I run out of ink on this page and have to use my nails instead or the blood in the sink. What if there are two vowels in a row?

Does anyone know the answer to that last question?

If there are two vowels in a row, you use a carrier placeholder. It’s a plain straight line, like the letter i without a dot, that just exists to hold extra vowels.
