His ghost was locked in place there, for years after Jazz went off to college, after Maddie and Jack moved away for better funding. He stayed there and watched as the world moved on without him, watched cracks slowly cover the walls and animals make it their home until it was eventually torn down.

He’d haunted to workers by making their machines malfunction, and after about a year, the piles of concrete and rotted wood were fenced off and left alone.

And then he stayed even longer, floating atop the rubble of his grave home.

DPxDC idea/prompt Pen Pals

(Probably more idea but you can run with the concept... im so srry XD) Basically Danny and Damian are pen pals- until Damian receives a letter with Lazarus Water and Blood smeared on the page.

WHAT IF Danny and Damian were pen pals before Danny's accident. A school project for 8th grade. Damian was reluctant to participate but due to it being a grade and being pestered by his siblings that he would just scare the kid off anyways, he deciding to partake in this pen pal. Danny whose not suffering at school, just living a normal life at the moment, is being teased by Dash saying his pen pal could smell loser before even opening the letter. Asking Danny if his parents even let him open the letter or blast it thinking its a ghost. Which makes Danny who wasn't into this idea of writing a stranger more determined to do it. Besides they might only get one letter and teachers drop the subject. They might not even get it. So what the heck. Turns out they become the only ones that constantly wrote each other- even mailing it in person once the school ended the program. (Damian having a post box set up for letters)

Ghost: obviously the only thing I can do after 2 hours of sleep is beat my record and get 1 hour of sleep next time

Soap: *drinks 13 cups of coffee at once*

I just thought of a funny DpxDC prompt.

Danny was at a convention in Gotham. He was also getting some unfavorable attention from someone that mistook him for a Wayne and get them to leave him alone when he spots Bruce Wayne. He immediately goes up to Bruce and goes “There you are dad! This guy won’t stop following!”

Bruce, barely paying attention, on cloud nine because one of his kids needs help, just helps Danny and threatens the other person to take them to court for stalking his son or something.

Danny says his thanks and leaves.

Bruce doesn’t realize Danny wasn’t one of his kids until later.

ghost king au!danny and fright knight have such a fun potential dynamic. like the fright knight wants to do such a good job and serve the ghost king. he's proud of his boss and is gunning for employee of the month meanwhile danny is like "oh great this fucker again. please don't show up at my physics lecture again. i had to gaslight the entire class into thinking you were a cosplayer floating around on wires. i had to gaslight physics majors. do you know how hard that is" and then fright knight is like "understood. never again, my liege" and pulls the same shit the next week while danny's at the dentist

Tim is at least happy bernard has less conspiracy theories about the bats. However him going off about a whole branch of the government deemed as guys in white is a bit much.

Now. He sure the two are just feeding off one another.

But it gets a tad too specific at times. Bernard going into detailed accounts of different ghost then ways they may have died?

A tiny ghost in a suit of armor. He is even claiming that his online friend is actually king of an entire dimension of elite ghost warriors? But his friend hadn’t realized it yet.

Honestly if his friend whose username is d3as0rAliv3? wasn’t coming to visit Gotham. Which he has no idea why anyone would come here he’d be hunting him down right now.

He’ll still do his research of course. Tim will also accompanying Bernard for the meet up. Just to be on the safe side.

Now when they got to the library. He most certainly wasn’t expecting a kid their age with a black eye and bruising around the wrists.

i’ve seen people talk about bruce accidentally calling tim jason and making it angsty and shit and don’t get me wrong i love it, but also,, that’s just what parents do tbh

ive got two sisters, i get called by their names multiple times a day. there’s no way bruce is sitting there with how every many fucking kids and not mixing up their names

you can also tell what sort of things you’re parents associate with you by what they instinctively call you. for example if you drop smth and get called your siblings name first, chances are that’s the sibling that your parents think drop things a lot

i’ve gotten yelled at for doing things my sister typically do and tbh it’s fucking hilarious to have my parents go “(siblings name)-! I MEAN LORE!” and my sibling gasping in betrayal

anyways my point is, we need to utilize this more. imagine tim or jason doing some reckless jump off a building and getting called dick. or steph arguing with tim and getting called jason. or duke bringing an animal home and getting called damian. like the opportunities are endless and the offended gasps from both children is priceless

He ask where was the kid and Nightwing pointed over to where the kid was sitting, he told Nightwing that he would talk to her. After he saw Nightwing leave Jason walk over and hug his daughter and told her they were leaving, he pick her up and started to grapple to his motorcycle.
