On the one hand they really should have mentioned DD's existence before the episode where it's revealed he killed Edo's dad. But on the other hand the fastest way to get me to care about a character is showing that Edo cares about them, so it only took one flashback to baby Edo asking DD to stay champion so he challenge him to get me to feel very hurt by his betrayal.

The yugioh spinoffs are literally the only thing I watch subbed, as my hatred of 4kids and love of card game anime combine to overpower my usual inability to focus on the subtitles.
Idk who else has played them but. The Scooby Doo games for the Wii fucking SLAPPED. The costumes (specifically in first frights)? Absolutely amazing. Level design? Impeccable. Soundtrack and sfx design? Awesome. I will never get tired of replaying them.
