As most of you know, Croatia has been hit by a pretty big earthquake today, another big one this year (what you should know is that before 2020 we never had huge earthquakes like that and now we had a few pretty big ones in the midst of a pandemic so people including myself really don’t know how to react and it’s stressful and horrible to live through it and I know many people can relate because they’ve went through similar traumatic experiences themselves), there’s been casualties, some villages are completely gone, two towns are basically falling apart, there’s damage in the town where I live (Zagreb), too and my whole house shook like a leaf for a good moment when it was happening, and I’m not exaggerating when I tell you that I thought I was going to die in that moment (my mom shared with me that she basically feared the same) because it felt like the house was going to fall on us because of how bad the earthquake was, thank the Heavens that we’re fine physically and our home is undamaged, but a lot of people were not so lucky and now there’s just so much destruction and sadness and fear left in place where there used to be happy families, peaceful family homes, and victims are still being found/saved and it’s just a lot so I’ll be sharing some posts and resources which people from my country and other countries as well can use if they can help monetarily in any way (if not, even sharing is a huge way to help so please don’t feel bad about yourself if you can’t donate, I understand how rough this year has been and want you all to take care of yourselves).

- I gotta be honest. Everything feels really good for me. Like, I cried so much but I felt content at everything that had happened. I’m excited and so so grateful for the creators of this show. They care about Star Wars and it SHOWS

- Grogu decided what is best for his own future and possibly for the galaxy. He understands because he was once a youngling, this was something he began to dedicate his life to. He can’t just walk away now and continue to live on the run with Mando (even though I absolutely love them to death)

- Everything with Din and Grogu at the end had me sobbing. My heart still aches as I process everything...he really cares so much about him. His helmet, The Way of mandalore, everything he once blindly stood for doesn’t matter to him. Finding Grogu and caring for him gave him a sense of individual purpose and also family. He shows so little regard for the darksaber...like this man really just finds the comfort in his life more important and that’s so important to see!! I really wonder what he’ll do next :(

- This show made me fall in love with boba fett. That is all. I’m so excited for him and I need more.

- I KNEW it was Luke and I screamed any way. I really didn’t think they were gonna do it AND THEY DID. IT ALSO MAKES SENSE in the context of the movies and Luke fulfilling his destiny as being the last Jedi. I love Luke (just not when he takes him away)

- “he’s asking for your permission” hit me so hard. Grogu knows what he has to do..but he’s making sure Din will let him. He checked the parental consent form off his list before going to Jedi school

SO many interesting things happened and my brain is still trying to process it- maybe will post more thoughts later.

Overall, it’s a great time to be a Star Wars fan. I’m so ready for The Bad Batch.
