I had previously known about maybe half of these, but seeing it on a graphic floored me so I decided to look in to the various death tolls. I took the higher figures in every instance because we all know old racist white folk would do whatever they could to minimize the heinous actions of their white communities. It’s also worth noting that for most massacres, they are typically listed as riots (IMO a racially charged word because of right-wing right media); and a lot of them have 10x as many injured than killed which I omitted those figures for brevity. A (very small) handful of the deaths were white people defending their black brethren, and so I also included those in the figures.

Let this history never be forgotten nor white washed (more than it already has).

This is so cute 🥺

Aside from this being just adorable that his parents/friends did this with him, I'm reminded why representation matters. Is this the first time he's seen a family that looks like his in a movie just being? Or ever? Why did it take so long?

His profile pic is Bo from She-Ra oh he's precious 😭💖💖💖💖

CELEBRATING 1000 CHAPTERS OF ONE PIECE!!! (ノ•∀•)ノ*:・゚✧

CONGRATULATIONS ODA ON REACHING THIS INCREDIBLE MILESTONE!! MORE IMPORTANTLY, THANK YOU FOR DEDICATING NEARLY HALF OF YOUR LIFE (AND COUNTING) TO CONTINUE TO TAKE US ON THIS EXTRAORDINARY ADVENTURE!!

GLOW UP CHECKLIST ✨💅🏼💕👱🏼‍♀️🧴🎀📲🌷🏋🏼‍♀️🌸
[ ] Learn your skin type 🧖🏼‍♀️

Learning your skin type is important because it can change and better your makeup game. And obviously, you can create perfect skin care routine! Since every skin has different needs. There are four types of skin: dry, oily, normal, and combination. More info here

[ ] Learn your face shape & how to contour 🙍🏼‍♀️

Personally, I'm a big fan of full face makeup. I believe you can put a lot of products, and still make it look natural. Before I found out about different face shapes, I contoured using the 3 method. It didn't do anything to my face besides that I looked like I put hella bronzer. Knowing my face shape helped me with contouring. Here, you'll find how to contour your face depending on shape.

[ ] Jojoba oil for hair 🎍

Every pretty girl got them shuper cute, healthy, and moisturized hair. Jojoba oil dissolves the dirt build up on your scalp and nourishes the follicles hence promoting hair growth. {source}

[ ] New pretty hairstyles👱🏼‍♀️

I looove my hair straight. However, naturally they are wavy, which means I gotta use a lot of heat on my hair :( Recently, I decided to stop using straightener every day, and instead I let myself use it once a week. For the days when I go natural, I do a sleek bun or high ponytail with clip in extensions. To make it more cute, I bought some pink scrunchies & hair clips with rhinestones... If you are looking for ideas how to style your hair, check youtube.

[ ] Get your lashes done 👁

If you find yourself in a rush in the morning, you should consider getting your lashes done. It saves you a lot of time & even if you don't feel like doing makeup, at least you got pretty long lashes.

[ ] Whiten your teeth 🦷

You don't have to spend hundreds of dollars to whiten your teeth at specialist. Go to your local drugstore, and get whitening strips. Even if your teeth aren't straight, you're gonna feel so much cuter and confident smiling, knowing they are taken care of!

[ ] Buy a lipgloss 💄

I meaaaan.. who doesn't love lipgloss?! Whether your lips are small or big, lipgloss will make them look juicy and kissable!

[ ] Make a workout youtube playlist 🏋🏼‍♀️

Someone once told me: you can't change how your face look, but you can change your body by working out.. Obviously, you can change your face with surgeries. But not everyone can afford to (I know I can't). That's why I started working out every two days. I want my stomach to be flat, and my booty 2 be round. Chloe Ting is my go-to youtuber when it comes to working out. You'll get the fastest results with her.

[ ] Set your goal to drink 2l of water daily 💧

Did you know that if you drink 2l of water daily, you will loose 5lbs after one year? Simply by drinking water, no exercise! Now imagine your body after one year of drinking water & 20min workouts daily... *SNATCHED!!!*

& Your body is 70% water, you need it girl!

[ ] Download Pinterest & find your own aesthetic 🎀

In my opinion, Pinterest is the easiest way to find your style/aesthetic. To get started, create two boards: outfits & makeup. Save only pictures that you genuinely like. Don't be like, "oh, I like Kim K, and that's something she would probably wear. *Saved*" What I mean is stop imitating people. You can take inspiration but don't steal somebody's persona. Literally. Don't be a copycat. You're your own person.

[ ] Prepare your go-to outfits 💞

I think everybody should have at least 3 casual go-to outfits. It can be one pair of your favorite jeans and three different tops. Something you look good in & can wear on days when it feels like "you got nothing to wear."

[ ] Get cute jewelry ⚜️

I'm not really good at fashion. What I usually wear are black jeans, black turtleneck, and black shoes. Boring, right? Lol. Whenever I put on jewelry, it looks like I put some effort into my outfit. I order mine from aliexpress. I love big 'diamond' rings & chains. The ones below are from aliexpress for $10/20. *these aren't my pictures *

[ ] Find your favorite fragrance 🌸

Using perfume will not do anything to your looks, however, it definitely will make you feel better. Personally, I love when people tell me that when they smell "Bare Vanilla Mist from Victoria's Secret," they think of me. :)

[ ] Manicure 💅🏼

A regular manicure will keep your nails tidy and hands clean. You don't need to go & get full acrylic set... Here is the tutorial on how to do a simple manicure at home.

[ ] Use cuticle oil

Applying cuticle oil can increase the circulation around your nails, stimulating nail growth. {source} Mini tip: if you get nail gel extensions, applying cuticle oil prevents lifting.

[ ] Cut off toxic friends ✂️

This is the final step of my glow up checklist. CUT OFF TOXIC FRIENDS!!! How are you supposed to be glowing and thriving, when you surround yourself with bad people? I rather be alone than have fake friends who pray for my downfall. Not everybody deserves to be your friend.

ps, english isn't my first language so i'm sorry for any grammar mistakes 💗 feel free to correct me xo
