Maybe this picture got me kicked off the Keanu Reddit page because I yassified Bill and Ted too early in our timeline
Keanu Reeves’s career is so funny to me. Like these are the movies he’s famous for:
You forgot gay time traveling teenager and his blonde boyfriend
Hot hot hot hot chocolate
PLEASE THIS IS THE THIRD TIME I’VE SEEN THIS THIS AFTERNOON.
Optical Illusion Paintings by Rob Gonsalves
ID: 8 paintings that use perspective to create optical illusions, most with objects appearing different in the foreground vs the background.
1: the ocean. a series of ships with large white sails in the foreground become the clouds between arches of a bridge in the distance.
2: a lake. the reflections of clouds split by tall pine trees become ghostly figures rising up out of the water. the last one holds a glowing lantern in reflection of the moon in the sky.
3: a person floating in a lake. snow covered tips on dark trees become stars against the black of space, as the clouds in the sky become landmasses on the curved Earth. the person is floating half on the lake and half in space.
4: an autumn road with people biking. the leaves on the road under their bikes become the tops of trees overlooking more people riding bikes below.
5: a canyon. white water rushing over rocks becomes white-robed figures holding chisels and carving buildings into the rock.
6: a city scape. a child is stacking blocks on a picnic table in the foreground, and the blocks become the actual skyline of a city. another child climbs a tree to place more blocks on top of the actual skyscrapers in the background.
7: a puzzle. a person kneels next to it and holds a puzzle piece out to someone standing on/in the puzzle; other people are depicted in the puzzle carrying pieces up the lane and standing on a roof in order to place them in empty pieces of sky.
8: rolling fields. children are in beds with green and brown patterned blankets; two are jumping on their beds which become trees and fields far below as an airplane flies between them. sleeping children in the background roll into mountains adjoining the fields.
end ID.
Ok you want gossip? My stepsibling came out as trans and it’s killing me that I can’t roll up and be like hey guess what dad you actually got two of us, not just one, and be her cool enby big sibling without revealing that I faked my death a few years ago and actually just moved away. So I just have to sit here six towns over and hope she figures it out eventually. Luckily she’s smarter than our dad so like. Totally possible. Our other sister already did. I didn’t do a very good job of it according to her.
God I love this website

You probably have seen this flag around if you're active in online queer spaces.
This flag was created in 1992. It's older than me, and older than most of you on this app. It represents bears, an identity that belongs to gay men and their community, just like butch and femme belong to lesbians. However gay men identifiers usually describe a body type more than a way of presenting.
Those are the two otter flags.
This post is important, but if I may add onto the learn your history part, butch and femme aren't exclusively lesbian terms. They are most often used by lesbians, yes, and bi women, but if you ask some older gay men about their identity they might bring up being butch or femme, and that's literally okay!
So like, I guess, don't go after old gay guys who only date "femmes" or dress "butch".
This goes for bear and otter and twink too! While these terms are associated with people who want/prefer a same gender relationship, they were always inclusive of bi+ people.
Yup! There is plenty of historical (and modern-day) precedent for femme, butch, twink, otter, bear, and more being used for any queer/lgbtq person regardless of their gender or orientation.
If you meet the criteria of a bear but you're a woman or a fem-aligned enby, congrats! You're still a bear! Specifically an Ursula (and/or lesbear if you're sapphic)! There are tons of other bear subtypes like femme bears and muscle bears and trans/enby bears!
You can read more about bears on the LGBTA Wiki! https://lgbta.wikia.org/wiki/Bear
Yes!!! At those times we didn't separate different letters of the acronym so much (remember it started at only GL) so gays, lesbians and anyone who was wrongly put into these categories switched terms a lot! Which we still see some of it today (queer men using the term femme, or even lesbians calling themselves "twink butch") while those terms started with a purpose, they quickly evolved and got used by everyone, lesbians used gay terms, gays, lesbian terms and everyone who didn't have their own label at the time like bisexuals, transgender people, asexuals, etc would use those terms as well. Those are queer labels. ❤️
I've seen people on TikTok claim that Bears don't need a flag because "it's just a bodytype"
You have no idea what they have done for our community do you
