I wonder why cats smell so nice.
Milk chocolate will simulate sweet taste receptors ...sweet taste receptors alone stimulate a dopamine release, sending projections that say, ‘This is a pleasurable experience; Let's do it again.’
Chocolate also has the capacity to affect our levels of dopamine, a neurotransmitter that helps control the brain’s reward and pleasure centers (Brookshire). An increase of dopamine in the brain tells the individual that he or she should try and get more of whatever it was that caused that increase. Chocolate contains a key compound called tryamine, which is derived from the amino acid tyrosine. Tyrosine is the amino acid precursor to dopamine (Roizman). With increased tyrosine levels comes increased dopamine levels, which results in the activation of the reward center in the brain.
if you are to consume chocolate, what's gonna happen is the ventral tegmental area will say "we can enjoy this moment" and it's going to stop secreting Gaba which will then allow neurons here to start secreting dopamine.

Photographer Captures Photo of Rare Siberian Tiger
Wildlife photographer Sascha Fonseca has captured an incredible photo of the ultra-rare Siberian tiger in its snowy natural environment.
Siberian Tigers “Until human beings devised weapons for themselves, this was the most powerful killer on earth.” Life of Mammals - David Attenborough
Here’s an example: you’re a restaurant for a friend’s birthday. Everything you experience triggers particular patterns of activity in your brain. For example, there’s a particular pattern of activity sparked into life by the conversation between friends. Another patter is activated by the smell of the coffee; yet another by the taste of a delicious little French cake.
The neurons that are active at the same time will establish stronger connections between them: cells that fire together, wire together.
Now let’s imagine that six months later you taste one of those little French cakes, just like the one you tasted at the birthday party. This very specific key can unlock the whole web of associations. The original constellation lights up, like the lights of a city switching on. And suddenly you’re back in that memory.

Every four months your red blood cells are entirely replaced, for instance, and your skin cells are replaced every few weeks. Within about seven years every atom in your body will be replaced by other atoms. Physically, you are constantly a new you. Fortunately, there may be one constant that links all these different versions of your self together: memory. Perhaps memory can serve as the thread that makes you who you are. It sits at the core of your identity, providing a single, continuous sense of self.

EN There is no question that this generation peaks in daily life performances and spiritual exercises, nothing has become less real than living. In the twilight of Hyperreality, people experience what’s left from an analogue time through archival material. Discipline yourself or delete yourself, information is the new god and we are its apostles, delivering the bad news.

Hello, I have a favor to ask of you guys. I’ve joined an illustration contest for a festival called Taisho Jidai Matsuri held in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. Winners are picked depending on how many likes they get on their entries posted on the festival’s Instagram account. It would mean a lot to me if you could take time to click here https://www.instagram.com/p/CZEel-0Ld6P/ and give my illustration a like! Thank you so much in advance :)
here is the description for the painting I translated into English!
I drew this painting in which the man and the woman of the present joining Taisho Matsuri looking at the picture of a street scene from the Taisho period with the image of them traveling back in time to that era. The sunset represents the Taisho period that is yet unfaded. The man and the woman turning their backs represent the past.
I just wanna say a huge thank you to those who’ve liked my entry. I appreciate your support and kindness :)
I regret to tell you that I didn’t win any prize. I just wanna say a big thank you again to those who liked my drawing on Instagram linked above!
