I JUST REMEMBERED WHAT I WAS TRYING TO DO:
i was trying to put the torch in my offhand and my brain was malfunctioning because the inventory space i dragged it to wasnt the right one on the first try, but i was thinking about so many different things at that moment that it took my brain several seconds to recalculate how to fix that extremely miniscule error.
that’s why when im snapped to an alert right when the creeper hisses, ALL lanes of traffic in my brain are shut down so all mental power can be dedicated to doing what i need to do to ensure my survival, so i IMMEDIATELY know how to solve the problem so i can finish it and get a little jump off to take less damage.
the human brain works fast, thats crazy.
