Rose + outfits (part 1)
Titanic was called the Ship of Dreams, and it was. It really was.
I don’t know what to say to a woman who tries to jump off the titanic when it’s not sinking, and then jumps back on when it is.

Titanic Character Tropes
"You must promise me that you’ll survive, that you won’t give up. No matter what happens. No matter how hopeless. Promise me now, Rose, and never let go of that promise."
"Dawson. Rose Dawson."
“I’ve never spoken of him until now. Not even to your Grandfather. A woman’s heart is a deep ocean of secrets. But now you know that there was a man named Jack Dawson, and that he saved me, in every way a person can be saved. …I don’t even have a picture of him. He exists, now, only in my memory.”
I just love the fact that Rose is holding Jack’s hand in front of her mother and in front of her fiancé Cal. It shows how much she loves Jack, what kind of rebelled person she really is and especially that she doesn’t care about the opinion of her Mother and Cal, who always wanted to keep her away from him, and about what’s “right” or “wrong” anymore. It’s like she’s saying to her mother: “I’m gonna break free now and I’m going to be with the man I love and not with the one YOU want me to marry for his money!”
