Are we talking about the same shy, socially awkward, plant-loving redhead who would go to the moon and back for his loved ones without caring about himself? This boy basically led an army to protect his bff, is ready to die for his village and friends at any time and spends all day taking care of the needs of others. He was ready to be forced into a marriage for his village, adopted a boy who was abandoned by his family and probably still doesn't get more than a few hours of sleep each night because his entire day is about dealing with other people's problems. If anything he's toxic to himself and needs to learn more about self-love.

Nothing against this sweet, sugar-cube-in-shape-of-a-person called Rock Lee - but whoever wrote this must have stopped watching the show after the chunin exams...

If I may add something,

Yes, Gaara was unwell when we first meet him. He did have a toxic mindset, and many of the ways of how he treated others (particularly his siblings) was cruel and not acceptable. I do not excuse his hostile behavior, but I can understand it.

Because of how Gaara grew up, from what he was forced to endure, he formed a warped view of the world, of people. Gaara developed an attachment disorder - this is very common with people that grow up in unstable environments - and this caused him to forcefully push others away from him as a form of self preservation and protection. He grew cold, distant, emotionally shut down from everyone.

The reason he was so hostile towards powerful ninja was because he saw them as threats. Not for power reasons, but for self survival. Remember, Gaara has had assassination attempts on his life since childhood. He was terrified of others. Desperate to ensure he wasn’t killed.

Again, while I can understand his behaviors when first introduced, I don’t excuse them. But the beautiful thing about Gaara’s arc is his growth. Gaara learns - thanks to Naruto - that his perspective was skewed and took the necessary steps, put in the work, to become a better person.

That is what is so inspiring about him. Gaara was always a gentle soul, he just got lost along the way and needed some help to be put on the right path.

This is a long post but this is important especially if you live somewhere where fireworks have been going off every night all of a sudden for weeks now.

if you been following this blog of mine for a while you know i’m NOT into conspiracy theories BUT this shit is fucking fishy as hell. this is NOT fucking normal and i truly believe this is a part of how police fight back against calls to defund and/or disband them. i’ve said for a while now (mostly on twitter) that ppl who want to abolish the police (i am one of them) need to get ready for war cause cops will fight us to the point of killing us to maintain their power. i absolutely believe they are believe this sudden and constant stream of fireworks happening across the country targeted in areas where there were massive marches calling to defund the police. this would be very easy to coordinate given all the communication tools we have today (whatapp, fb messenger, ig direct message, skype and etc) and like the last tweeter stated, given all the crap we know the police be involved in, giving away fireworks ain’t shit BUT if raises the number of complaints they don’t respond to, they can use that to make themselves look good. i mean check it…

that’s a hell of a fucking jump (for all the ppl who want to claim this is normal (stfu)) and they are not responding to those calls. why? they are behind it and then they can use this to say “see, y’all need us. don’t defund us.” 

i won’t repeat what’s already in the tweets but yea, i am 100% this is warfare by the police against calls to hold them accountable and to defund them BUT we can’t back down. the mere fact they are doing this proves they are scared and we are right. 

fuck the police! 

This has been happening for over a month now in my neighborhood. Like one of the tweets said, nobody in my neck of the woods can afford this.

Humble yourself because God can put you in the same situation you made fun of.
