Sometimes I have no words to explain the many colors that I’m experiencing. It’s beautiful yet overwhelming.

I saw him there...
And I remebered everything.
All the hardship,
the tears and laughter.
I remembered I’d do it all over again
if it meant I’d see him again

I would have never imagined
That loving him would be so easy
Yet so hard
But in the end I’d still choose him
No matter how easy or hard it is

Not everything is sunshine
There is shade and thorns too
I do not ignore the flaws
For the flaws makes this beautiful
You do not need just sunshine to make things work
You are like a clear blue ocean, it doesn’t know it’s amazing. It doesn’t know what it does for the environment around it. It doesn’t know the different colors it has or the amazing life that lives inside it. It goes throughout its day, pushing and pulling. Not knowing how many people admire it.

Long distance is kind of like coffee
Some people are ok with it
And some would rather stick with water
Every time it meets with your lips,
you taste a flavor
That can’t be found anywhere else
It keeps you awake at night
Even though you know
That you want or should go to sleep
But as the flavor leaves
It also gives a bitter taste
But it’s ok
Because you take another sip
To meet it again

I dream of us all the time
I can see what we’ll do together
Like lazy mornings when we don’t want to get out of bed
I’ll be half awake, but it won’t matter
I could be looking like roadkill, but you’d still love me
I would try to convince you that it would be better to sleep in a little longer
I would beg you not to leave, and maybe you won’t
I could see us going shopping together and finally doing what we always wanted to do
Maybe you will finally win and pay for food
And we’ll laugh and talk about our day and what our dreams are
We’ll pick out the worst outfits and try them on
But most importantly, I would just love you.
I don’t have the right words, and I never will
All I can do is just try to describe the indescribable feeling
It’s like the feeling when the sun peaks out on a rainy day
Or even the sound or hard rain while you’re still inside
It’s like the feeling of a hot shower on a cold day, or a soft blanket just surrounding you
It’s the feeling of complete acceptance
The feeling that no matter what you do, they’ll never leave
And that my friend is the best feeling ever
