You know why I loved this scene in the books so much?
Ron is completely out for the count - he’s ill from being poisoned and passed out. And while his friends and family are all standing around for hours, discussing what happened and who they think might be behind it or the real target was, Hermione is quiet. She doesn’t say a word, just quietly sits there, crying and listening.
But!!!
When she does finally say something, the first time since she first ran up to Harry outside the hospital wing, that’s when Ron starts to come around.
Ron’s been out like a light, listening to the voices of everyone around him, but the only one who he actually reacts to - the only one who brings him out of his poison-induced stupor - is Hermione.
You know what other time Hermione’s voice brings Ron back? Oh, you know, DEATHLY HALLOWS.
Hermione and Ron are literal soul mates and nothing will ever convince me otherwise.
Yes! Yes to all of this!
And remember that time when Ron’s voice kept her safe from Bellatrix’s Crutios… God, I love these two so much 😭
