Big changes coming soon. ^v^

I've been quiet for the last several months because I've been busy with some personal things.

IUD placement has been a Godsend! No more weeks where I'm just incapacitated by pain.

New blood sugar meds have been preventing crashes.

But the biggest thing taking up my attention has been house hunting.

We finally had enough saved up to put a down payment on a house in September, and have been focusing on finding the place we intend to put down roots and spend the rest of our lives.

On the third of this month, we closed on a 4.6 acre property.

It's an older house, so a lot of repair and updating work needs to be done before we can move in and get the new lofts built.

If all goes well, we should be able to begin construction this summer, and will hopefully be done before fall.

No breeding or hands on rescuing will resume until both new lofts are completed and all of the birds that didn't make the keeper cut go to their permanent homes.

Until they do, fees are capped at $20, which also covers the mate of the bird in question, if they are part of an established pair, and the applicant passes the screening for a pair.

We've been posting brief updates on TikTok every day this month, if you would like to see the flock in action.

My family and I are going to have a lot on our plate for the next few months, so while I do plan to try to update often, I'm not going to take on the stress of promising any specific update schedule before we get settled.

I no longer have Tumblr on my phone, and I'm honestly not sure if I want to download the ap again.

So updates, when I have them, will be in the evenings when I don't have anything pressing hanging over my head.

See you when I see you, dears.

Ok!

Just got this clarification forwarded with a phone call a bit ago.

That was entirely my misunderstanding, I'm quite relieved to say.

Next order of business is to make a master post of all the post relevant to the outbreak and our quarantine procedure, and pin it so that anyone who wants to look can without having to scroll.

Hoo, lord, has this been a PROCESS...

Here is the paperwork I got back in the 17th of last month:

With the same conclusion as last time that DNA sequencing from Pan Fungal PCR of Lung tissue confirmed Candidia.

Not Aspergillus.

And PCR for PMV family was negative.

I have mentioned in prior posts that I was told over the phone that the virus panel was testing for 5 differrent, specific viruses.

When I asked for clarification for my records of what those were, exactly (It seems like a reasonable thing for potential clients to ask, which I would like to be able to answer plainly), this was the paperwork I got back.

Which... does not answer the request I had made to specify.

And honestly just looks like the same thing coppy pasted thrice.

I asked by email one more time, and just got back off the phone.

There seems to have been a misunderstanding on my part.

Dr. Mayer said she believes the more thorough viral PCR was just looking for any virus, and, had any been found, it would have been IDed by DNA the way the Candidia had been for the fungal one.

God bless her saintly patience.

She was kind enough to offer to reach out to the pathologist in charge of my case and ask for clarification in writing for me.

I have people looking to adopt again, and want to be able to tell them in no uncertain terms what exactly was tested negative for before anyone goes anywhere.

Once I have that clarification, I will post it.

Hopefully, we'll be able to start sending birds home soon.

Just got off the phone with the vet after having called to ask for updates Friday and again yesterday.

Tests have concluded.

No evidence of a virus found.

I have requested a copy of the records, which the staff said they would call UGA to request and then email me.

Once I have those, I will post them here.

Anonymous asked:

We found a white pigeon with his one wing dropped down. No blood or breakage noticed. Just a few smaller feathers misplaced. What should we do. Can't keep.him

I am trying to keep the blog clear until the final run of the viral test comes in so that the entire quarantine and testing procedure is easily to read the entirety of.

Finally!

An update!

One more run, and it will officially be safe to start adopting them out and get myself down to my keepers.

The labwork following the initial necropsy post did isolate Candidia.

And the conditions when they sickened were ideal for a bloom, especially on the porch, near the AC unit, where they liked to hang out.

Definitely seeded by what I tracked in.

Definitely exascerbated by overcrowding.

They now have a new AC unit so they don't need access to the porch to keep cool, a new shelf for more social space, new shelf liners that are easier to more thoroughly clean, a raised walkway from the house to the loft that keeps my shoes off the grass, and I keep a box of disposable waterproof shoe covers on hand that I wear any time I enter the loft for any reason.

All sand and nesting straw is replaced on the first cleaning day of the month.

The floor under the feed mesh is bleached every Monday.

Breeding will not resume until I am down to my 20 keepers, and a lot of changes in policy have been planned out for when that happens.

All hatching will cease if the loft population reaches 40 birds, be those peeps I have bred or rescues being fostered.

No more than one peep per pair will be designated as a keeper.

No pair will be allowed to hatch another clutch until any available from the previous clutch have gone home.

If any given pair is allowed to hatch a second clutch, it will be to try for a keeper with more of the traits that I am selecting for than the current designated keeper displays.

Which ever has more of the desired traits will stay, the other will be made available to the public in accordance with their temperament.

No pair will be allowed more than four total clutches. That's enough to document the most likely combination of traits.

Pairs that are not allowed to hatch their own may foster, if needed. That gives me good parenting data.

Ideally, I should have my 10 active breeding pair and one designated keeper offspring from each, leaving comfortable space for 10 more birds, be they nestlings, new blood, or rescues.

We are presently packing and looking for a permanent home ourselves, where we can put down roots, move our inlaws to retire (without them having to pay us rent), and build the new breeding and adoption lofts.

Regular blog updates will resume when we get the all clear from UGA that it's safe to send birds home.

Breaking hiatus a moment because Chirp's 13 birds need to find foster homes by the first of July.

Copied from the message:

"Hey can you think of anyone who would be able to foster a dozen pigeons temporarily? I need to find someone by the first of July, I'm getting kicked off my farm"

"I can cover the cost of shipping and I don't anticipate it would be for longer than a year. It's 6 bonded pairs plus one Jim, so 13 birds total actually. GLPR is overwhelmed and can't help and there's no way I'm going through palomacy."

"FOSTER ONLY Beatrice & Boki:

Beatrice is a rescued German beauty homer hailing all the way from Washington state. She was found in a parking lot, struggling to stand and showing signs of PMV. We don't know where she came from or how she got to where she was, I'm guessing after showing signs of PMV her breeder discarded her. She was taken in by my friend who rehabilitated her until she could be shipped to me in NY. She made a splendid recovery. Beatrice is a very kind hearted bird, but she's no pushover and likes to be high ranking in a flock. She's friendly and confident around humans.

Bea is married to a Russian tumbler cock named Boki who she picked out during her stay at another loft. He's a silly little dude and very social. Boki is incredibly devoted to his wife. They had a healthy, beautiful son together (who now lives happily with a friend). They'd be a wonderful pair for someone who is new to pigeons to foster and try out keeping pigeons. They tolerate confinement and are very easy going and socialable. The one downside is, while they're totally healthy, they should be monitored closely for health issues. Both have a tendency to get poop stuck to their butt feathers and are more susceptible to illness. Beatrice benefits from having her legs (which tend to get try and calloused) and large nares lotioned with coconut oil if she is being kept indoors.

FOSTER ONLY Yuki & Alice:

Group shot at the end

My oldest pair! Yuki was a lost racing homer found by a wildlife rehabber in Rochester, NY. She's solid white and very beautiful. The lovely lady who rescued her got her healthy and then gave her to me so she could be safe in an aviary with other pigeons. She won't land on me, but is very eager to socialize, take treats, and spend time together. She gets my attention if she wants fresh water or more food.

Alice is a dog training survivor that showed up not long after Yuki arrived here. He's a big mostly white pied fellow, boisterous and very flashy. He's not terribly friendly, but is often willing to wrestle and occasionally take his very favorite treats from my hand. His sole reason for living is Yuki, he is so devoted to her! They've had several children together and are so easy to manage. Very healthy. They are high energy and used to having space to fly, but I suspect they would adapt to an indoor lifestyle no problem so long as they have each other. They would be good for a beginner that doesn't mind having hands-off pigeon friends, but wants something bullet proof and robust. These guys don't get sick, they are tolerant of both heat and cold, and don't stress easy.

ADOPT OR FOSTER Skippy & Belva

Belva was an oops baby hatched here out of Carrie. She's a bit of a scruffy little blue checked feral, and very shy, sometimes I worry that she's gone missing but she just is REALLY good at being wherever I'm not when I'm checking on the pigeons. She's timid and tiny.

Her spouse is a suspected hen named Skippy. Skippy was rescued as a squab by my friend in NYC. He briefly partnered with Pitch, a hen out of Dani's lines, while he lived with my friend. He came here to live out his days. He's a funky dude! He looks like a blue checked feral defending from tumblers as he has very short little legs. Skippy is reasonably friendly when his wife is setting but if she's up and active then he has a tendency to become very skittish. These two are very much hands off. I wouldn't advise them for a beginner simply because they are difficult to catch and keep track of their health, though they haven't been sick. They would likely not thrive in a home environment and would be best kept in an aviary.

ADOPT OR FOSTER Freddy & Roy

Group shot at the end

Freddy, formally known as Frito, is a cock out of Dani Ramsey's lines. He's a very striking bird and pretty friendly. He'll land on my shoulder in order to take safflower and will even give my ear kisses if he's waiting for me to get the safflower out of my pocket. It took him a long time to settle down and he isn't trusting of anyone other than me, it takes him a long time to learn that new people are okay.

Freddy is married to Roy, an oops baby and Belva's sister. They aren't terribly attached to one another and tend to flirt with anyone and everyone they can, both Roy and Freddy's favorite fling being Skippy. Roy won't eat out of my hand but she will sit calmly and approach me in the aviary, she doesn't tend to panic if I reach for her. She's a beautiful dark blue with white speckles on her chest. I think these two would adapt to house life, but would be most content in an aviary or loft, particularly one where they'd get to stay with Skippy and Belva as the four birds are very good friends.

ADOPT OR FOSTER Priscilla & Fiona

Despite their names, these two are not hens but both very sassy cocks! Fiona is a rescue feral from Dani Ramsey, he was initially suspected to be a hen but as it turns out he is a very dainty little man! He is full of rage and wants to fight anyone and everyone. He seems incapable of accepting treats or landing on me without biting or slapping, but he's so tiny and cute that I could never be bothered by this.

To my surprise Fiona hooked up with Priscilla, a big white oops baby out of Yuki and Alice. Priscilla is tempered just like his little husband, but bigger and even meaner! Priscilla is also an escape artist, every so often he likes to slip out of the aviary and fly around loose, the bastard! The only one of my pigeons to do this. Luckily, he always comes right back and waits patiently on the door for me to let him in. It amazes me that despite how sassy these boys are, they are so loving and gentle with each other. I rarely see them driving one another and instead they spend most of their time cuddling in the nest, waiting for me to offer them a fake egg to care for. I have no doubt they'd be wonderful foster parents. They would be good house pigeons for anyone, but better suited for an experienced keeper if you intend to keep them in an aviary or loft with a flock given Priscilla's habit of escaping and both their attitudes (they LOVE causing trouble in a flock).

FOSTER ONLY Danny & Carrie

Group shot below

Carrie is my first oops baby, out of my first rescues, Oliver and Piper. She used to be shy but has become more confident in recent years. She won't take food from my hands but does like to hang out and converse with me, cooing quietly when I speak to her.

Her long time lover is Danny, who I am 99% certain is a hen but there's a small chance she could be a cock, she acts like a cock but I've had 4 eggs in her and Carrie's nest so I've always assumed she was a hen. Danny was rescued from under a bridge by my friends in Syracuse when she was just a squab. She had a nasty respiratory infection that took a while for me to treat. She has what seems to be allergies in spring and is prone to respiratory distress, she also is susceptible to coccidia and worms so one must monitor her health closely. Danny is sassy and while she is shy of hands, she does love to interact with me by cooing and dancing when I talk to her. Danny and Carrie should go to an experienced keeper that can monitor Danny's health.

ADOPTION Jim

Jim sure is a pigeon and he hates me! Jim was rescued from a hoarding situation, and his rescuer gave him to me because he didn't apparently get along with their pair of pigeons, I feel like maybe they actually just couldn't stand him anymore. He lives in my room currently and is my nemesis. He is married to my voorburg, but she prefers me over him and does not like hanging out with him, he really needs a mate or person of his own. Jim is VERY sociable and prefers being in a cage, he will active choose to be in a cage rather than free roaming in my room. He is very good at communicating and will loudly let me know if he wants more food or fresh water, and also that he despises my existence. His favorite hobbies include being a dad (he and the voorburg had two kids!), landing on my shoulder to study what I'm doing before wing slapping my face and flying away, landing on my shoulder to poop on me, wing slapping me while I'm trying to nap, wing slapping me until I give him more safflower, and wing slapping me to ask for scritches. No, I don't know why Jim always chooses violence. He could probably be taught manners. Jim is absurdly dense and I would describe him as an onion made out of lead. He is bad at flying and frequently misses landing on my shoulder and instead smacks directly into my face. On one side he has cute little freckles on his face, on the other side he has an angry eyebrow which is the side that he always has facing me. He is perpetually missing two feathers on his tail even after he molts, it's important to make fun of him for this and say he looks lopsided and ridiculous. Jim would be great for a beginner who wants a single house pigeon or to pair with their current pigeon. Really, he is a wonderful and charismatic pigeon who would be sure to make the right person laugh and love him, but you have to have a good sense of humor with this angry little onion.

Roy and Danny

Carrie and Skippy

Fiona, Priscilla, Yuki, Alice, Skippy, and Freddy"

As you all know, The Ramsey Loft is still closed, waiting on the broad spectrum viral panel results.

(I think it's been 4 weeks now? It's honestly all just bleeding together, but I *think* we should hear back next week or the week after?)

Until we hear that it's for sure safe, no birds can leave and no new birds can come in.

So I'm not able to offer to foster any at this time.

Wednesday 5/18/22

Had to call help today. I can't trust my feet to hold me up.

The rest of me is better than it has been in years. No more heart palpitations, menstrual pain, ransom exhaustion or mental fog!

My feet won't hurt forever.

Apparently, chemistry panels do not take long at all! At least not when they're only checking one thing...

Cheeto's calcium is drastically improved. Cotta's was normal both times his was checked, so Cotta had been eating the lion's share when I was including their dose with meals. Giving them a separate dish that I just refill as it empties was what Cheeto needed.

Saturday 5/14/22

Hundan laid her first egg. Swapped it with a fake.

More videos of the flock up on TikTok.

When I'm able, I think I should get the days between cleaning too, so you can see before and after as often as possible.

Sunday 5/15/22

No morning video because we have Fellowship.

Pulled three eggs, swapped two. (Because one of the three was a second egg, and the pair already had a fake.)

Grocery day.

Purchased two 50lb bags of Royal Wing Classic Mix at TSC.

Monday 5/16/22

Three more eggs pulled.

Long work day.

Feet and back both bothering me.

Video of every step is up on TikTok

Tuesday 5/17/22

Cheeto's blood draw is today.

It's really hard to get enough whole blood out of a pigeon for much of anything.

One of his veins blew, and the second just wasn't giving, but we got enough to run the panel needed and didn't need to try for a third vein.

His calcium was low when we did his base line draw.

I went from giving him a little with his food (since cocks can OD on it) to giving him a separate dish, and we're updating to find out whether he wasn't being given enough or isn't absorbing what he gets.

I suspect the latter, because Cotta's wasn't low and they eat from the same feeding station.

Though it is possible that Cotta ate the lions share of what I gave them.

This invoice is a little confusing due to a clerical error that was corrected prior to payment.

The receptionist inadvertently attributed another instance of the viral panel to Cheeto, so that charge was removed.

We got a replacement 6ft hose for the sink.

Thursday 5/12/22

Crap.

I forgot to push the Chewy order back further.

3 50lb bags of Versele Laga classic blend 15% no corn, $32.94 each.

Plus $8.32 tax

Brings the total purchase to $107.13

Friday 5/13/22

Four eggs were swapped with fakes.

Imp has been fighting like hell with some of the other boys over his wife's favorite nest, and his nares are torn all to hell.

Looks like someone threw up grit and millet.

I don't remember seeing it there before the flock was fed today, but that's no guarantee that I didn't just miss it until then.

Maybe imp or Titan? I'll watch them and see if they need to come back in.

https://vm.tiktok.com/ZTdsm5Yf8/?k=1

It's been exactly a week since Dr. Mayer passed along the minimum of how long it could be before I hear back about the virus panels.

Three more weeks is the absolute soonest we'll hear back, if the news is good.

I spent some time in the loft after cleaning and got some brief chill time videos on TikTok.

Nobody is acting off, but that's no cause to dismiss anything.

Friday 5/6/22

Dr. Mayer called this morning to let me know that the panel has already been started, and she'll have the bill prepared for me when I bring Cheeto in for his next blood draw on the 17th.

Apparently, this is a very thorough, and thus especially long set of tests.

They won't consider it negative until 5 consecutive panels come up negative. Each takes at least a week, and they are testing for multiple viruses.

So the soonest I can expect to hear back is early-mid June, unless something comes up positive earlier than that.

We have some very big human family projects in the works that are taking up a lot of my attention, time, and energy right now, so I'm going to be on semi hiatus until that's taken care of.

Of course, when I have more bird related news or have made another purchase for them, I'll share it with you.

These will probably be very short for the next two or three months.

As always, if you have a time sensitive question, both my email and phone number are listed in the blog's header.

Thursday 5/5/22

Removed Masnud's second egg. She seems to have married Nobu.

Called South Pointe Animal Hospital to check on whether we could get the viral panel started yet. Staff left a note. Waiting to hear back.

Wednesday 5/4/22

Got some video of the birds in their improved social space.

I still need to move the swing over by about half a foot.

Tuesday 5/3/22 Report

Masnud is apparently a hen. A few of the boys have been flirting with her, and I found her on an egg in one of the fresh nest boxes.

As we remain under indefinite quarantine, it was swapped for a fake.

Monday 5/2/22

Yesterday marked 22 years since my husband and I started dating, so I spent the rest of the day enjoying his company.

One thing I didn't get Yesterday was plastic replacements for the cardboard nest boxes.

Bird-Bird's old nest box is 8x11in.

I'll grab a bunch of boxes about that measurement.

Got more of the hard plastic shelf liners, and found a bunch of Tupperware that will work for nest boxes.

The shoe protectors work perfect!

That'll be an extra layer of protection, and I can keep extras on hand for guests when we reopen!

Got the path laid out.

Holy shit, it's so good to have a properly running AC again! That I can operate without needing a remote!

It is 3:41 am.

I just finished putting up the shelves.

Today was a 19 hour work day, between four people.

Second Cousin J was doing the heavy lifting, trips to the dumpster, and helping me with general manual work.

Cousin M brought his power washer, which we hosed everything we could bring outside down with.

His wife, Cousin C, helped me scrub whatever the power washer missed, then they cut the liners to size, because all Lowes had were liners for the biggest shelving unit, while J and I scrubbed the walls where the shelves were expected to go.

After they went home, I filled and restacked all 36 nest boxes, got the new shelf put together and the other two moved back in.

I am still not done.

I just physically can't do anymore right now.

Still haven't heard back about getting the multi panel started yet.

Thankfully, the remaining birds are in good condition.

Sunday 5/1/22 Report

Busy prep day!

Dear Hubby and Dad in law are installing the new AC in the loft while I run errands.

Got sand. There were only two dry bags, so I lucked out.

Ooh, they have shoe protectors! Gonna try wearing those in the loft to further avoid tracking anything between the loft and the house.

Lowes sells plastic liners for my shelves! Solid ones that don't need an added wire framework to hold them up! I can just pick them up and wash them!

Gonna try to pressure wash and bleach the shelves we have tomorrow.

If I can't, I know where to get new ones, but if I can actually get them sterilized, that would be better.

Pavers aquired! Kinda want to look for plastic awning material to go over the little 4x4ft extension off the porch.

We did not find those, but my cousin grabbed a little square wood panel to cover the vent holes from the old AC unit.

I'm not military, but my aunt is, and she let us use her number for the discount.

Don't think I'm going to be able to find a replacement doll house. Just gonna go with a smaller shelving unit.

Found one at Walmart that will meet the need. Also grabbed a sturdy utility knife.

AC fully installed! The chord hung Along the ceiling isn't pretty, but it's functional and out of the way of both humans and birds.

Saturday 4/30/22 Report

Never heard anything from the vet. The pathologist must not have gotten back to her yet.

Today is the last day of their Nystatin course.

It's also grocery day.

I picked up 2 50lb. bags of Royal Wing Classic Mix

Friday 4/29/22 Report

Cheeto is furious that I spent yesterday with family and not at home. Neither my toes nor my breakfast are safe.

If I'm standing, he's chasing and biting my toes with such dogged determination that I'm scared of inadvertently kicking or stepping on him.

Cotta has decided that anyone in the kitchen must be supervised, but he's at least polite about sitting still on my shoulder and keeping out of the way. I have to discourage it, though, because it riles Cheeto ALL they way up, and the kitchen is a dangerous place to either have a brawl break out between two birds on my shoulder, or have a bird trying to dance on my wrist when my hands are full of either hot or sharp things.

Sitting on the couch with my feet out of reach, he's alternately trying to stomp in and snatch bits from my bowl of freshly steamed broccoli. Eating a floret or two won't hurt him, but it's very hot and he'll burn himself.

The dear hubby ended up having to take him into his office. After which Cotta tried to steal broccoli from the bowl, and bit me for blocking him from burning his little tongue.

Cotta at least isn't anywhere near as determined as Cheeto to do dangerous things for attention.

Once my breakfast cooled enough to no longer be potentially scalding, Cheeto was allowed back put into the living room.

Gordon has not reacted to April's passing the way he did to Sasami's.

When Sami passed, Gordon tirelessly searched and called for her, stopped preening, lost his appetite, and wouldn't respond to us.

That usually means the pair was ill, but Sami's necropsy proved that she died of a stroke, and the nestling they had at the time never got sick.

After April passed, Gordon was a little less boisterous than usual for all of two days.

He isn't looking for her, or calling for another hen.

He does call to me of Mike in passing, and seems content to be talked to, danced with, held, and have his neck and little cheeks gently preened.

I'm puzzled, but relieved. As long as his needs can be met, I want this to remain his forever home.

Jesus Christ, Cheeto is just off his furious little rocker today! The entire time I was taking my blood pressure, he was biting between my toes and twisting his hook. I'm apparently not allowed to go outside. He's tried to fly out the door behind me, and when that didn't work, he tried to sneak out on foot.

Had to come in after washing the mats and mesh. My left foot, back, and shoulders all went out at once.

Some concerns for when Dr. Mayer calls back:

'PMV might have been a false negative if bird was in recovery and no longer shedding.'

There is no way he was "in recovery". Banner was actively dying at the time of euthanasia. I do not understand how he could have been "in recovery".

Jesus Christ. Cheeto may actually be contributing to my worsening limp.

My right is my lead foot, and when he dives to bite it while it's moving, all I can do avoid stepping or falling on him is hold it up and roll the foot that's planted to keep balance.

It's just staying in the rolled position...

Sterling, Orchid, and Taffeta all came to see me while I was laying out the clean food mesh.

Oh. It looks like Cheeto got used to me being stuck on the sofa, and was trying to forcefully drive me to sit down where he could brood with my feet.

Which apparently requires something be draped over them.

Unfortunately, constant, furious biting when I'm already in pain and struggling to walk does not help me work that out.

More evidence backing the theory that he was a released imprint.

Cotta is much better at bridging the communication gap when he wants something from us.

Cheeto was just never equipped for that and his severe anxiety doesn't do him any favors.

I'm very relieved to know what he wants.

Just going to have to keep a cuddle cloth on the floor in front of the sofa for him to get his social time in when I need to rest or have a meal.

4/27-28/22 reports

Wednesday 4/27/22

Really struggled with waking up this morning. When I finally did, noticed two pieces of straw stacked neatly next to my face.

Thanks, Cheeto.

The jingle of the rattlesnake plushy's tail emanated for several minutes from the living room. That's just Cheeto's now. It's going to live coiled in that chair with it's tail on the arm rest so he can play with it.

Cotta insted on being petted for several minutes once I was fully awake.

Trouble waking up aside, I feel a lot physically better than I have been.

It's been so long since I have not felt like shit in some way that I had no idea that the compulsion to check my phone just... evaporates when I feel well enough to have both energy and motivation to keep up manual work with minimal difficulty.

Normally, I feel drained staying off and energized by scrolling, but today doing anything other than taking notes on my phone feels like being fitted for cement shoes at dockside.

Gonna call that a win!

Orchid and Ibis both flew to my shoulders when I went to get the second weight stone to wash.

Sterling landed on my head as soon as I sat down to clean up the food mesh, followed immediately by Taffeta. Then Hope and Kimi up into my lap.

Shopping list worked out for this weekend's preparation for Monday's renovation and substrate change.

Ember laid a fresh new egg next to her fake, which has been removed.

Thursday 4/28/22

Spent the day with family.

Picked up a compressed bale of straw at TSC for Monday.

New Loft AC arrived while I was out!

Dr. Mayer was finally able to get back up with the virologist! They still have tissue of Banner's, and can do a two part screen for viral DNA that they will get back to her with details for starting tomorrow, so I can get that paid for and in the works.

They don't think the company claiming to be able to test for Pigeon Circovirus with whole blood is using an accurate enough test, and have advised I hold off on that.

More waiting, but I've gotten used to it by now.
