What's up, y'all! I'm officially a published author!

My children's book, The Pronoun Book: He, She, They, and Me is now available for pre-order on Bookshop and Amazon!

Basically, it's a book for anyone who wants to teach kids in their life about the importance of using everyone's correct pronouns and how pronouns relate to gender and identity. It covers he/him she/her, they/them as well as neopronouns and also talks about pronoun etiquette (i.e. why misgendering is hurtful and what to do if you mess up someone's pronouns).

The book was written by me, a certified genderqueer, and has fantastic illustrations by Jem Milton (they/he), a non-binary artist as well!

Anyway, if any of this interests you or if you believe in the importance of a book like mine I'd really appreciate giving this post a boost and pre-ordering your copy of The Pronoun Book if you can!

PSA for my fellow Americans: if you have a pet that needs anxiety medication for the fourth of July, I recommend getting those as soon as possible. We always run low on those as it gets closer to the holiday and clinics are still affected by medication shortages from COVID

in junior year of highschool my art teacher would let our ceramics class play music of our choice off of her desktop. we usually used spotify or youtube but she did have one album downloaded on her computer. it was a halloween sound effects/ambience collection. i dont remember why she had it. there was a track on there called "burning screams" which was exactly what it sounds like. just a cacophony of screams alongside crackling fire. she only let us play it on very special occasions, and we would cheer and jump with joy every time. it was like a pizza party to us

we should globally ban the introduction of more powerful computer hardware for 10-20 years, not as an AI safety thing (though we could frame it as that), but to force programmers to optimize their shit better
