This Saturday, June 24th, will be the VTuber Pride Pa-Raid; 12 VTubers streaming back to back for 24 hours, each performer passing the love on to the next with a raid. It starts with the event organiser, Arly Darkfire (Twitch) at 12:01am EDT, and it all culminates in a big collab at the end of the day!

We had a change in leading mini while live, so both the fae (in the genderfluid pride flag colours) and the hacker (in the non binary flag colours) got painted in the 2 hour time limit:

Since her sassy right arm is from another kit (dark eldar I think.... maybe dark elf?), and looks far too thick/muscled for a strength 2 character, I've changed it to be a sleeve of her jacket! 💪🩺👩‍⚕️

I bought a lot of new minis at UK Games Expo last weekend, and I don't want to just pile on the backlog, so I did a quick speedpaint this morning.

Mini is by Papsikels, printed by OnlyGames Co. I experimented with the spray primer, purple with a teal zenithal, and I let some of that show through intentionally in the paint.

The sculpt reminded me a lot of the design of AquaSoul in MMBN4, so the colour scheme reflects it a bit!

I am clearly a Bad Anime Nerd, because I had no idea it was a reference! I adore this era of cybersuit design, though.

Nah, it has no dedicated tabletop game, but there are plenty of miniature-agnostic wargames you can play like Butality, Stargrave, or Reality’s Edge that you could use a futuristic-looking mini like this in.

If you’d like to get hold of this miniature in particular, you can obtain it from Papsikels’ My Mini Factory page (and there are a ton of folks who have the licence to print it on Etsy, or the aforesaid OnlyGames Co. if you don’t have a resin printer).

My latest mini kitbash, an 'Angel of Media', made using parts from Necromunda, Warmachine, War on Terra and more! Ever since the Propagandist mini was revealed I knew I needed to use that screen staff of his on something weird.

Hey so I've since painted this!

There are some finishing details to do (I think she'd benefit from some careful blacklining) but I love how this has turned out!

Since I was painting it on stream, a viewer suggested a pearlescent white over silver. Which in practice is using the slight translucency of white ink to my advantage and letting shading colours peek through:

I wanna meet other UK/EU Tabletop Gaming streamers!

Across my time both writing and streaming TTRPGs I’ve learned how huge the tabletop gaming streaming space is! Buuuut, a lot of it is focused in the US, and time zones can make it sometime really difficult to work on project or perform with them.

But I know that there are streamers who cover tabletop stuff in Europe-friendly time zones, and I want to meet more of them!

If you watch (or you are) someone who does Twitch/Youtube streaming based on any facet of tabletop gaming, please drop me a reply!

To be clear, tabletop gaming includes both the physical realm (board games, TCGs, ttrpgs, miniature wargaming) and digital equivalents (Tabletop Simulator, YuGiOh Master Duel, Deckbuilder Roguelikes, Citizen Sleeper…). It can be live plays, discussion, game making… anything!

Every couple of days I think about this post (I also have a similar one on Twitter).

While I am not so arrogant as to assume that I have astounding reach, it is funny to me that I can name quite a few NA streamers with a focus on tabletop gaming, but I have to ask around to meet mew folks on this side of pond.

I refuse to think of it as a geolocked hobby!
