Of course I would.
(In fact, my wife regularly complains about her body, but I see nothing of the rubbish to which she claims. After having four children, her body has understandably changed, but she’s still as beautiful to me now as she was the moment I fell for her).
I think it’s important to try to be healthy, Anon, though I’m not much of an example. I have a family, so I do wish to be at my best for them. However, I should hope that your spouse would be understanding in your struggles to get to where you want to be. None of us are perfect; your spouse shouldn’t expect that of you. They should encourage you in your goals and be patient with you when you falter.
