Welcome to the Miraculous Ladybug Calendar Project, made by fans for fans.
What is the Miraculous Calendar Project?
It’s a zine-style project where multiple artists collaborate to create a calendar with a Miraculous theme to give back to the fandom! Currently we are digital only, the free download will be available on December 1, 2023.
It was created by @thelastpilot in 2017 and has been dormant since 2019 — but now with new management we are happy to bring this back to the community.
The calendar will be comprised of a collection of fanart as well as the traditional 12 month calendar complete with National French Holidays, important dates for the ML fandom, as well as other possible significant dates based on what the community decided to come up with!
How can I apply?
Our contributor applications open June 15, 2023. We will share a link to the form here as well as it's own dedicated post.
Who can apply?
Anyone! The only requirement is that you are a fan of the show. Previous zine experience is not necessary, though we will ask to see your art portfolio.
How can we know when to expect updates?
Our schedule is posted here, as well as listed in our carrd and linked on our page.

This is from ‘Beasts of Burden’, a really cool comic about a bunch of dogs (and one cat) protecting their town from the supernatural things that threaten it. It’s spooky and sad and really just fantastic. At one point they teamed up with Hellboy. Everyone should read it (if you don’t mind some pretty dark things happening. it is not a cheerful comic but it is a good one).
Hey! So, I loved this comic, and still think about it occasionally, and tonight it was linked to me again with just the right timing so that I hyperfocused and squirreled off to go read everything! They aren’t really numbered well, but the Wikipedia page has a list of them in release order and what anthologies to find them in!
But given that it’s a pain to seek out each one one by one, I’ve got a list of links in order a smidge further down! Please try to support Dark Horse Comics if you can, but if you’re broke like me and still want to read, the Internet is a beautiful place. According to the wiki page, there are at least two more installments to come, scheduled for May 1st and June 5th, but there’s no real update schedule for the series as a whole.
Do note: they are graphic, gory, and sad, with a lot of body horror. But they’re really fantastic.

Another owlhouse sona but this time for my friend @chubledoobles ! I think the Frenchie palisman was my absolute favorite part, that and the belt! (Which always makes me think of @megatraven)
I am now offering this as a commission type! If you would like a owlhouse character sheet of your very own you can now get one for $40! Comes with a custom palisman (or something comparable if you choose a human) and a full color design in a reference style pose.
The show usually doesnt do much if any shading but if you would like cell shading anyways just ask! No extra charge.

I was watching a VM fanvid about the twins (as one does) and once I finished making dumb noises I went back and took a bunch of screencaps “for later”. “Later” turned out to be the last couple of weeks at work on various breaks - I doodled and then inked with markers on an A4 page (I think the American equivalent is “letter”? anyway). And then added the screencaps, because why not.
Also, a couple of other screencaps, because sometimes you just gotta cuddle your emotional support bff/gnome ^^

As always, prices vary with complexity, but as a basic guide-
Single character sketch: $15-20 USD
Lineart: $25-30 (depending on detail) Add Shadows for 5 dollars, add flat color for 5 dollars
Full Color: $30-40, additional characters add 30% per character, simpler characters are cheaper.
Character Sheet: $40-50 (Front and back and color swatches)
Pokemon Commission Special price! $20 dollars for a complicated full colored pokemon with simple background. 10-15 for simple pokemon, possibly even less. Price is based on how long it takes me.
Full colored animal crossing villagers and chibis for $10
Background prices will be determined upon request. My rule for everything is, the more complicated it is the higher the price, which is why things I’m accustomed to/good at are cheaper!
