The Scooby-Doo Project is a Halloween special that aired in commercial segments during Cartoon Network's Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! marathon on October 31, 1999.
Each "commercial" was a mix of live action handheld footage with traditional hand drawn animations which parodied its source material, The Blair Witch Project (1999), very well. You can watch the 20 min youtube video (linked above) which pieces all of the segments together.

casually brings back this video to point out that marvel does UNNECESSARY VFX shots to skirt working with practical unions like construction, art, props, set dec, costumes, sfx, or locations, because VFX doesn’t have a union hence the burnout
I get that some scenes in recent films must have been done with covid-protocols to keep main talent safe (see black widow and spider-man), but for so much of marvel there is no excuse.
I’ve seen that one screenshot with Captain Marvel’s hair and that one I also get, because unless they film with fans or underwater her hair won’t have the zero-gravity floating effect it needs to show she’s in space, so yeah, fine, CG her hair.
And I get doing CG doubles for Spider-man doing amazing spider-man things! But why... why, why is his entire costume CG when he’s just walking around? (oh right because this trailer came out before endgame so spoilers)
Or worse, they give him a suit and then CG it anyways!

Gonna keep saying this: VFX workers need to unionize cuz Marvel needs someone to force their hand with some of this bullshit. Either force them to give the companies more time to get everything done OR force them to not rely so heavily on VFX. Either way is a win if you ask me.

since we are talking about people who deserve a higher salary i think teachers should be making six figures a year btw. if state superintendents who have never set foot in a classroom can make that much so should the teachers. teachers are quite literally the backbone of our society and if teachers were actually properly compensated we wouldn’t have a shortage or bad teachers who are continually burnout because of a lack of proper compensation.
