- There is in no world, no realm, no reality, in which Robin Buckley makes the first move on Nancy Wheeler. There's the obvious logistics here: Robin thinks Nancy is straight. Duh. But the truth of the matter is, Robin loves Nancy as a friend and is petrified of losing that, especially over something that could potentially drive Nancy away forever. Meanwhile, Nancy is in full gay-panic mode every time Robin is within 12 feet of her and the absolute only one to NOT notice is Robin Buckley.
- Max clocks it before anyone else. Steve is soon to follow. They both tag team trying to set these idiots up. Dustin thinks they're up to something, has no idea what and tries to spy on them, who are trying to spy on Robin and Nancy. Eventually Dustin joins the "Gonna Get Robin and Nancy Together" club.
- Max is their adopted child. End of story there.
- Robin and Nancy exchange rings. Robin wears some of Nancy's tiny golden ones that are so dainty and fine that Robin worries she'll break them in her clumsiness but they're surprisingly sturdy (much like Nancy) Nancy loves the feeling of Robin's silver rings (albeit only one or two at a time since she's not used to larger rings) and they bring her comfort when she's anxious.
- The two of them definitely go on detective jaunts together now. The bug was caught when they were in the library, sifting through nonsensical yet intriguing (and harebrained) ideas of aliens, ghosts, and possessed celebrities. Nancy's journalistic instincts are no small matter, and who better to indulge in this insane goose chases than Robin, who believes most if not all of them are true. (x-files au now please)
- Nancy steals Robins clothes, finding them more comfortable when they're out running around. Her style is important to her, though; and she keeps this up for herself and no one else. Robin is a huge fan of Nancy's wardrobe.
- Robin is obsessed with this artist she found featured in a magazine she definitely was not meant to look at at a gas station named Keith Haring (concept taken from Alen on twitter) She can't explain why but she loves everything about his style and form and color and she's not an artist by any means but that doesn't stop her from painting crude versions of his work on t-shirts and even painting one for Nancy on a periwinkle shirt.
- Nancy is extremely protective of Robin on a visceral level. She thinks its because Robin can't see a threat if it's a bear staring at her in the face but its also that she's never felt this kind of protective instinct before and she's leaning into it. She's been protective of Mike and Max and the rest of the gang but with Robin, well Robin has a piece of her heart (her whole heart) so it goes without saying that if someone looks at Robin wrong its Nancy Wheeler and her shotgun they've got to worry about. (Robin is a puppy and notices nothing)
