I woke up on Sunday feeling completely different. Like something changed. It’s hard to explain, but everything seems a little clearer to me. Everything we do is a choice. And we fill our day with poor choices that mat not really benefit us. We make our own luck. Get what you want and dont be denied by yourself. That’s what my friend did. I guess in a way I am just doing what he would do.

I dont know if my friends noticed. I dont know if my coworkers noticed. But I feel like the world has shift around my point of view. I have no idea if this will last. But I know it’s real. Even if no one sees it.

“On my necklace, I always keep this key, it was the last place I lived before I was evicted… and I had to live on the street after that and I kept it because, for the longest time it was a reminder of a place I couldn’t go back to. Now, for the first time I feel like I don’t need it ‘cause it’s a reminder of a place I never have to go back to.

You know… during that time I searched so hard for inspiration, because that’s all I had. All I had was inspiration, and I looked to my heroes; my heroes did stuff like this. And I was in that place where I felt like I could never find something like this, and now it just means the world to me to be able to inspire somebody else. That’s gonna keep coming. 'Cause this is bigger than me. This is not one person, this is 32 people, all of them, every single one of them. I started and they were just my peers, and tonight at the end of this; every single one of them is also my hero. This is for everyone.”

4 years is the average amount of time a person spends in college. For the most part, people change and grow a lot over the course of those 4 years (or more in some cases). My profile pic for this tumblr is a picture of me from four or so years ago. I’ve change a lot since then. There are a whole lot of people I havent seen in four or so years. I wonder how much they’ve changed as well.
