Books are life...

Book Idea-(The Soulmate System)

The main character lives in a closed of society where everyone is separated by age groups. Everyone is the same. There is no perfect or talented or different. Everything’s the same.

Once you hit age 20, you get these visions, dreams, or daydreams about your future soulmate and little hints about them.(this happens for both soul mates at the same time.) once you both have an idea of each other, the two of you go to the sort of mayor type person and say you’ve found you’re one and only. The mayor person opens the Book of Soulmates, and checks to see if you’ve found the right person. If the book does, you get to go live in what’s called the Family Section, where you raise your kids and grow up in until you hit age 16. Once you hit 16, you are moved to the Growing Up section. And the cycle continues from generation to generation.

But if the book thinks you two aren’t made for each other or you’ve found the wrong person, you’re sent into the Great Unknown. Which is basically a rainforest filled with deadly creatures, little to no food or water, and a blazing hot sun overheard. However, there is a way to escape. If you make you’re way out of the Great Unknown, rumor has it there is a place beyond, called the Paradise. Most people believe the Great Unknown is a beautiful place for people to live their life at in peace, but only the main character knows it’s true colors.

Our main character, is a stubborn, self assured, rebellious troublemaker, who’s never up to any good. But she has a good reason. She’s not like most people, she’s faced the cold-hard truth, that life isn’t always perfect. She’s a loner and lost her mother as a small child to the Great Unknown. Like her mother, she does bad things for the good of others.

Our main characters soulmate, is a goody two shoes, does what’s right, good hearted boy. He’s genuinely sweet and kind, and very good hearted. His mother is the mayor type person, and she always taught him right from wrong.

(This is just how I see the characters and what’s think hey would be like)

But when the mayor decides our main characters aren’t meant to be, without the book’s permission, she sends her beloved son and most hated criminal into the Great Unknown.

Will they survive? Or will they die? Will they find love? Or just deep hate?

(This is just an idea, but your welcomed to use it if you’d like. Idk it’s just been on my mind for a really long time. I’d also love to know if someone uses it or something, I really would wanna read a book like this)
