The Present is Imperceptible

@theinscrutabletotemterror

Dear feminists of tumblr,

If y'all don’t attack and cancel Amber Heard the same way y'all did Johny Depp. If y'all don’t think she deserves jail time for defamation and abuse cause she is a woman.. YALL AIN’T REAL FEMINISTS

Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk

*edit* since this has got more notes than I thought it would and people seem confused about what I’m trying to say here’s some clarification. Amber doesn’t deserve special treatment because she is female, she deserves the same punishment a male abuser would. The whole point of feminism is for everyone to be equal IN EVERY SCENARIO.

And now, a brief break from my usual idiocy to talk about how nauseated I am by Amber Heard.

It’s people like her that give people, especially men when directed at female victims, reasons not to believe victims. I know some people wouldn’t believe victims regardless, but now there’s a whole world full of men who can point to her and said “oh, women fake abuse all the time”. And we laughed when she said stuff in interviews like “Johnny sometimes has lines fed to him in an earpiece, I don’t because I’m a good actor”. She tried to bury every semblance of his career, she capitalized on this shit with a smile.

And personally? I can’t wait to watch her career burn to the ground.

Again it disturbs me that people in their early twenties are ashamed of being virgins as though it should be normal and expected for middle schoolers and high schoolers to be fucking lile crazy particularly when those are the most vulnerable amd likely to be taken advantage of by adults. This world’s fixation with sex is disturbing

Like I’m turning 21 this year and I am still a Virgin. Meanwhile 2 girls my age I know have babies.

some glo ups aint covered in make up and dipped in coconut oil. some are cold and wet in a strange way. some glo ups force you to throw away parts of yourself that no longer fit - no matter how long you’ve had them they. must. go. some glo ups leave you lonelier - wiser - but isolated. some glo ups are private.

The 20 year old child in me pleads “Protect me, please. Make me feel safe. I just want to be worthy of empathy, kindness and protection.”

The 11 year old adult in me explains “We can only depend on ourselves for protection & safety. Others are not to be trusted. The way to survive in this world is to be self-reliant.”

We have not found a compromise yet.

NTs and Awkwardness

INTP: Feels awkward all the time, is very awkward

  • Thinks they’re awkward, and so does everyone else. Self-explanatory loop of disaster.

INTJ: Feels awkward all the time, not very awkward

  • Sees themselves as socially awkward and incompetent, actually presents themselves rather well

ENTP: Doesn’t feel awkward very often, is very awkward

  • Thinks they’re the coolest kids on the block, but everyone thinks they’re a shy bucket of the crazies

ENTJ: Doesn’t feel awkward AT ALL, not awkward

  • These guys can say “I love you” to their crush with a straight face. Terrifying.
