With this spellbinding project, insanely talented artist @littlechmura wanted to create a self-contained moment for each of these beloved Harry Potter characters—a single scene that gives a glimpse into their own magical worlds. She’s calling the series “One Breath Each”, and we’re calling it GORGEOUS AF.
“It was recorded, that the 500+ police officers at the scene, fired approximately 10,000 rounds of ammunition in the direction of the house in 90 minutes. This act of terrorism caused the deaths of 11 people (6 adults and 5 children) and destroyed 61 houses in the predominately Black neighborhood of West Philadelphia.”

More sources on the MOVE bombing:
Video done by The Guardian in 2016 (I’m so fucking annoyed that they call it a ‘compound,’ they were fucking row homes. That style of row home, for those who are not local to the area, are literally everywhere. I live in that same basic style of row home, six-plus to a row - they are up and down every damn street in this area. Also - the video includes footage of the bombing.)
More NPR coverage expressly about ‘why have so many people not heard of the MOVE bombing.’ It’s a Code Switch follow-up to the prior article.
