yeah
I just looked at Luke's medal ceremony outfit and you're right, those clothes are 100% Han's. That jacket is huge on him and what boy from a desert planet with two suns is going to have a black t shirt
This is in fact the hill I will die on. Like, look at that belt-holster-pant-boot combo. They are matching! Like, sure, you could argue that the Rebellion gave him something to wear, since all of his possessions were destroyed. But that they would give him something that matched Han? Unlikely.
And the V neckline? Very Han. The stripe on the pants? Han. The knee-high boots? Han's. Conclusion? Han thinks clothes sharing is a good way to flirt with cute farm boys. And he's right.
One last thing. We give Luke a lot of credit for the Chanel Boots, but Han's been wearing them since ANH. I would not be surprised if The Chanel Boots were Han's, and Luke just stole them while Han was frozen.
episode iv luke is so funny bc he's like a deeply sheltered 19 yr old gay that goes off to college away from his hometown and immediately develops a crush on the first attractive older man he sees
I had a dream last night about two people going in to get their marriage license and it said something on the license about the swashbuckling adventure they're about to go on together and the guy turned to the girl and said, "Honey, are you ready to have your swash buckled?" and I literally woke myself up laughing.
Julia’s Kitchen + a glimpse of Julie’s kitchen
“The subject of cooking and eating is so intimately bound up in the physical, practical, social, psychological, aesthetic, creative, spiritual and romantic needs of mortal creatures in the earthly here and now that any attempt to reduce it to rules and formulas is doomed to failure." - Bill Stumpf
Okay, I'm looking for movie recommendations. I recently watched Julie & Julia and The Devil Wears Prada for the first time and I absolutely loved both. I suppose these fall under the category of "chick flicks". Some others that I like that are in a similar vein are Pretty Woman, The Princess Diaries 1 & 2, Steel Magnolias, and Fried Green Tomatoes.
What I liked about Julie & Julia was how food was one of the central themes (I also loved how Julia was taller than her husband and not ashamed of it, and how they were still so mad about each other into their 40s and 50s). I've started watching Julia Child's cooking show, The French Chef, on YouTube as a result of my love for the movie. And in The Devil Wears Prada, I loved the glamor and sophistication and the look into the fashion world. Not to mention, Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci were fabulous in both movies.
I'm not looking for romantic comedies or the sappy stuff you see on the Hallmark channel. I would prefer movies where romance and men aren't central to the story.
My First Altar!
My boyfriend and I just moved into a bigger place and I finally set up my first altar. I've been wanting to do this for a while, but didn't have the space, as we've been living in a studio apartment for the past year. Everything you see here except for the mushroom insence burner and the burlap rabbit is either thrifted or bought from a small business. I'm so proud of how it turned out! Currently, I have it decorated for Ostara, but I plan to change out certain things to match different seasons/sabbats. (Also, I know the insence burner on the carpet isn't the best idea; I do plan to move it when I actually do burn insence).
