Quarantine feels like that episode of the twilight zone where the last man alive finally has all the time in the world to read but breaks his glasses but instead of glasses it's just my whole brain

My moms house has high ceilings and those sort of shelf-spaces all around the perimeter of the room, where most people would put vases or decorative plants.

Instead, they put Dimitri's cat bed up there, because he, like most cats, likes to be high up, and also his sister Persephone can't jump up there, so it's a good place for him to relax unperturbed when he needs some alone time. (Dimitri was an only child for the first five years of his life, and is very introverted/private, whereas Pcef needs constant attention, so sometimes he needs time away from her to decompress)

We call this are The Penthouse. Dimitri will frequently look down upon us mere mortals from his heavenly perch.

(it is not uncommon for me to ask, "Where's Mitri?" and be told "He's in the Penthouse.")

A King amongst mortals.

here’s some fun black history for you guys!

I love cree summer so much. Shes probably one of mt fav VAs and it never fails to make me excited to hear her voice!

She also plays the voice of the female Exo guardian in D2 so legally she voices my OC >:3

Cree Summer has a voice that is simultaneously instantly recognizable and perfect for every character she voices. She’s a blessing.

Not the celebrity news we ever expected to read, but the celebrity news we deserve to read.
While speaking to Slate for an oral history of the cabbage merchant, Sie playfully said, "Of course, now I’m more at the age of what the cabbage merchant was then. I will cultivate that little beard if they need me to. And because my face is quite expressive, I’m perfect for a live-action version of an animated show. I’m ready."

Please let this guy play the cabbage man

it’s what he deserves

2 YEARS OF YOUNGBLOOD (June 15, 2018)

It’s never really been about the numbers with this band. Something even more special to us is [to] create a new chapter and a new culture for our fans to really immerse themselves in and feel passionate about. That really was the main focus for this album. It was important for us to delve in and create something that could be played for decades. It’s just a perk that we got the number one, but that comes down to our fans’ resilience and their dedication. I’m forever grateful. - Calum Hood (EW)

The way Birds of Prey’s cinematography went OFF

Looking at this again I’m noticing how it this movie wasn’t afraid of putting things center frame. A lot of people come out of film school thinking the 2/3/golden ratio rule is the only way to compose shots and Marvel movies are especially bad about using that composition technique to draw the audience’s eye away from women’s faces to their boobs. Mad Max Fury Road is famous for the director’s insistence on using center framing to emphasize action

I just saw this movie for the first time this morning. As someone who is (was until I reached today) watching all the Snyder-verse DC movies ALONG with taking film analysis and editing courses, I was blown the fuck away.

“I watched Birds of Prey this morning, if you wanna watch it again TODAY I’d 100% be down.” - Me, to my partner less than an hour after I finished it

That is my reaction every time I see it and I’ve watched it three times so far.
