had a surreal experience at work this morning. i was the only person on the floor when we opened and a customer came over and was like "do you mind if i ask you for help with something?" and when i jokingly said "i don't think you have much of a choice to be honest" he replied "we always have a choice" and then we both just stood there opposite each other like rival wizards of light and dark for several moments.
it literally felt like this
I have mixed thoughts on sex work. I love sex, but I hate work!
“Yeah, we hate seeing you work too!”
how does this post keep getting better
when gerard way sings "the broken, the beaten, and the damned" and when kermit the frog sings "the lovers, the dreamers, and me" they're talking about the same people btw

“I think I would’ve, if I just maybe gotten enough time. And I’m sorry we don’t have enough time.”
I think it’s quite funny for Kim to have bad takes on certain things or weird, ineffective methods for performing everyday tasks that he insists are normal and for Harry to either incorporate them into his world view uncritically or be like
Kim, showing Harry how to change a lightbulb: the first thing you have to do is flip the switch an odd number of times to make sure the lightbulb is really broken and the electricity is off. I typically flip the switch eleven times, because then I'm certain that the bulb is out (flips the switch 12 times) ah…. See, I have accidentally flipped it an even number of times. This means I have to start over.
harry: silently watching Kim flip the switch for the 15th time while wondering if “can I just flip it three times?” Is a stupid question
shocked and disappointed no one has done this yet
My favorite mermaid art is the one of a family photo with a mermaid mother and old sailor father and their sons are both reverse merfolk (human legs with fish heads).
This is the one!
It's by Jessica Warrick.
