25, unapologetically queer, aspec, disabled, and polyamorous. They/them pronouns. MA. Anti-capitalist. TERFs, SWERFs, white supremacists, and exclusionists are not welcome here. Queer is not a slur. #BLM, #ACAB.

Ahh mantis shrimp, the wizards of the sea

Watercolour painting (+ digital bg) requested on ko-fi (except for the wizard part, I’m going through a wizard phase, you know how it is)

The possessive investment in whiteness can’t be rectified by learning “how to be more antiracist.” It requires a radical divestment in the project of whiteness and a redistribution of wealth and resources. It requires abolition, the abolition of the carceral world, the abolition of capitalism.

I love love LOVE learning shit like this

The animators put so much love into every frame of this movie and I love seeing the real influences for every character

Whenever I run into people--people who are apparently well-intentioned and trying to be kind and moral--who honestly think that there was no widespread antisemitism before the Nazis, all I can think of is this:

The Wikipedia page for "Timeline of Antisemitism" is so long that they had to give the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries their own subpages for reasons of length, and the 20th century subpage is not inclusive for the Holocaust, which has its own timeline subpage.

But so many people think that antisemitism was invented by the Nazis, and solved by the Allies. And I just want to shake them and educate them.

“The more heavily the process of self-preservation is based on the bourgeois division of labor, the more it enforces the self-alienation of individuals, who must mold themselves to the technical apparatus body and soul.”

I'm so glad people like this one 😭💖 I normally don't share links because I don't want to seem like I'm selling anything, but if you have a VR headset (like a Quest 2) with Figmin XR installed you can visit this place yourself! all of my AR artworks are published under Creative Commons and free to download.

also - I just added some interactive fluffs for people to play with :)

How about we just have like... hey trans people, post your pay links or wishlist or whatever you got. No limits, no trans excluded, intersex welcome, any and all genders off the social conventions included. I'll just reblog em a bunch.

I need a reblog to share your info, please use those, not comments or tags. I try to reblog immediately every instance I see between 10am and 10pm, everything else goes into the queue.

Additionally, Reddit is known to have further donation resources, some of which are outlined and linked in this post.

“Mrs R” was the pseudonym of Phyllis Shafer, a Kansas City local who helped found the Phoenix Society for Individual Freedom in 1966, a full three years before Stonewall. Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, she and her son Drew operated the Phoenix House, a safe haven for queer people in the city, and a hub of national queer activism. Drew passed away due to AIDS related complications in the 1980s, and his lover, Mickey Ray, spent the rest of his life fighting to keep his memory alive, largely contributing to the creation of the Gay and Lesbian Archive of Mid-America.

“We tend to view American history as this constant march toward progress, which is total crap,” he says. “You gotta fight for that stuff. And if you don't fight for that, you can fall backward. Like it's not just this linear history."

Good quote from the article which may be relevant right now.

Bring this bad boy back with some delicious context for pride

I give politicians the benefit of the doubt re: their immortal souls or whatever. Like, the job turns you evil even if you aren’t already. You get Amigara Faulted no matter what and it’s not for me to say who is a ‘good person’ or even a ‘sincere person.’ It’s not for me to decide what’s in a person’s heart or head. But the fact AOC didn’t do that fence-crying act after an eight year-old died a preventable death in border patrol custody says a lot.

To be clear this post isn’t me using a the murder of a child to pwn the libs epic style, but rather to bring up the point this stuff is still happening

The people who protested in 2017 aren’t all venal opportunists. Some of them were incarcerated or stalked or disappeared, some were bought off, some saw the futility of protest (absent [voting] and/or revolutionary organization) and got cynical. Not everyone is a charismatic politician who was good at twitter. And kids are still dying
