Black Magic Brownies
(Regular Ingredients)
1 stick of unsalted butter (½ cup) - melted
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 cup granulated white Sugar
2 eggs - large
2 tbsps vanilla extract
½ cup white flour
(Witchy Ingredients)
½ cup cocoa powder
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 F (175 C). Grease an 8x8 w/ extra butter or coconut oil.
2. Whisk together butter (melted), oil, and sugar. Once thoroughly combined, whisk/beat in eggs and vanilla until lighter in color.
3. Combine dry ingredients (flour, cocoa, cinnamon, salt) and sift into wet mixture. Fold with a spatula to combine until just combined, do not overmix unless you prefer more cake-like brownies.
4. Pour into 8x8 and bake for about 25 minutes until a toothpick comes out relatively clean. These brownies are very fudgy so the toothpick shouldn’t be completely clean after you pull it out of the baked brownies.
So what magick is worked into these brownies?
Chocolate/cocoa powder - chocolate is a powerful ingredient in love potions and is meant to improve relationships and bonds. It is a natural aphrodisiac as well. Milk chocolate is often used to strengthen platonic relationships whereas dark chocolate is involved in romance and lust.
Cinnamon - fertility, abundance, luck, happiness, the list goes on and on. Cinnamon is a potent and powerful spice that gives the user increased protection and good-will as well as powerful antioxidants.
Salt - You may lay salt lines across your thresholds to ward off evil spirits but by also working it into your cooking/baking you can rid yourself of negative energies and stock up on much-needed electrolytes.
•If you want to make these brownies vegan, make sure you are using dark chocolate cocoa powder and replace the eggs with ½ cup of coconut oil or vegetable oil.
•Gluten free? No problem! You can replace the white flour with coconut flour or even almond flour. If using coconut flour use 2 tbsps. If using almond flour use 1 cup (1:1 ratio to white flour)!
•Melt your coconut oil before adding to the butter/sugar mixture. This will make it easier for you to combine everything.
•Really mix your wet ingredients before adding anything dry - I can’t stress this enough!
•Always stir clockwise 😉
Please Reblog to Save A Life
Last week my brother was in a car accident. He was hit by a drunk driver. He sadly lost his life after a two and a half day fight in critical condition. He was my best friend. We did everything together; we travelled, listened to @taylorswift and had heart to heart talks. I can’t help but to stress how things could have been different.
Before taking the wheel of a car, ensure you are not intoxicated. If you go out to drink, arrange alternate transportation to get home, like an Uber or taxi. This can not only save your life, but also the lives of other innocent people.
Please do not drive while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Reblog this to save a life today!
Yes please! It’s so easy to say “Nope! I can’t drive I’m drunk!”
I’ve done it many times, even when your intoxicated. I’m a complete light weight two shots in, I’m done. And of course it’s not like when I was/am drunk I don’t think about driving of course I was drunk I had a stupid idea but it’s easy to make the decision not to act on stupid ideas.
No excuses. If you get behind the wheel drunk or intoxicated or under the influence of anything (prescription drugs, illegals drugs, ect) and you accidently take someone’s life, you are a murderer, home wrecker, child taker, widow maker, parent taker, asshole. I could go on but I’d hope by now you get the idea.
Thank you
Thank you 💕
