reminder that systems with fragments are completely okay and normal!
it’s completely normal for a system to not know someone is a fragment.
it’s completely okay for a system to always know whether someone is an alter or fragment.
it’s completely okay for there to be more fragments then alters
it’s completely normal for there to be more alters then fragments
it’s completely okay to feel sad when a fragment disappears
it’s completely normal to not feel anything when a fragment disappears
fragmentation is a large and sometimes mysterious thing for some systems and it’s okay to feel a certain way about it. it took us forever to accept we had fragments, to know who was a fragment. we would feel sad for certain fragments and almost nothing for others.
for us, it’s hard for us to have introject alters and most out introjects are fragments. but the thing is, it’s completely okay for the roles to be reversed; the brain is a mysterious thing and that means how your brain reacts to events will find whatever fits.
