Pom of Power (Hades mocktail)

Ingredients:

2 oz Aplós (Non-alcoholic spirit) 1 ½ oz Pomegranate juice 1 splash Lemon juice Pomegranate seeds Lemon twist

Directions: Shake all ingredients in a mixer with ice and strain into rocks glass, over fresh ice. Garnish with a few pomegranate seeds and a lemon twist. 

This drink is inspired by the Pom of Power powerup item in Hades, by Supergiant Games. The main ingredient is Aplós, a non-alcoholic “spirit” with strong citrus flavors, among others. The name means simple in Greek, so I chose to keep the drink just that. The unique taste of the bite of the main ingredient, sweetness of the pomegranate juice, and acidity of the lemon juice is a strong yet refreshing mix.

Beetlejuice and Lydia (Beetlejuice shooter and cocktail)

Beetlejuice Ingredients: 2 Blackberries 1 oz. Black sambuca 1 oz. Irish cream 

Directions: Add berries to a shot glass. Pour black sambuca into shot glass. Using a barspoon, layer the Irish cream on top. 

Lydia Ingredients: 2 oz. Lemon vodka 4 oz. Blood orange soda 1 splash Lime juice Drizzle of grenadine

Directions: Add all ingredients over ice and stir.

Slayer's Blood (Buffy the Vampire Slayer cocktail)

Ingredients: 1.5 oz Vodka 1.5 oz Pomegranate juice 1.5 oz Blood orange juice 1 tbsp Simple syrup 1/2 a Lime 

Red Candy “Blood” for Rimming Glass: 1/2 cup Sugar 1/4 cup Corn syrup 1/4 cup Water Red food coloring

Directions: Combine sugar, water, and syrup in a sauce pan.  Cook over medium-high heat until it reaches 300 degrees on a candy thermometer.  Stir in food coloring.  While the mixture is still hot dip in cocktail glasses. As the candy cools it will drip slightly down the glasses And harden in place.

Jack and Sally (The Nightmare Before Christmas shooters)

Jack Ingredients: 2 oz. Pumpkin pudding 2 oz. Spiced rum 2 oz. Heavy cream Whipped cream Candy corn 

Directions: Combine pudding and liquid in a shot glass. Mix until well combined. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Top with whipped cream and a piece of candy corn.

Sally Ingredients: 2 oz. Pumpkin pudding 2 oz. Creme de cacao 2 oz. Heavy cream 1 oz. Blue curacao Pumpkin whipped cream Candy corn 

Directions: Combine pudding and liquid in a shot glass. Mix until well combined. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Top with whipped cream and a piece of candy corn.

The Witch’s Brew (Hocus Pocus cocktail)

Ingredients:  2 cups Vodka 2 cups Sour Apple Pucker 4 liters Lemon-lime soda Dry ice

Directions:  Place a punch bowl inside of a larger cauldron. Add dry ice to the cauldron around the punch bowl. Fill the punch bowl with vodka, apple pucker, and soda. Pour water around.

Do You Want To Play A Game? (Saw cocktail)

Ingredients: Raspberries 1 oz. Heavy whipping cream 1 oz. Chambord 1 oz. Vodka Twizzler pinwheels 

Directions: In an ice cube tray, add one raspberry for each cube then fill with water. Freeze. Muddle fresh raspberries in the bottom of a rocks glass.   Combine heavy cream, Chambord, and vodka in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Add the raspberry ice cubes to rocks glass. Strain drink over ice. Garnish with a Twizzler pinwheel.

The Midnight Society (Are You Afraid of the Dark cocktail)

Ingredients: 1 oz. Apple whiskey 1 oz. Maple whiskey 1 oz. Apple cider Moonshine Cinnamon Apple orchard sticks 

Directions:  Light apple sticks on fire. Cap with decanter and let it fill up with smoke. Add apple cider, apple whiskey, and maple whiskey to a pint glass with ice. Stir. Strain into decanter and shake so the drink mixes with the smoke. Strain into a coupe glass. Layer with moonshine and light on fire. Sprinkle with cinnamon to create sparks.

The Bate’s Special (Psycho cocktail)

Ingredients: 1 oz. Cinnamon schnapps 1 oz. Butterscotch schnapps 1 oz. Milk 2 drops Grenadine

Directions:  Add cinnamon schnapps, butterscotch schnapps, and milk to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with 3 drops of grenadine.

The Time Warp (Rocky Horror Picture Show cocktail)

Ingredients: 2 oz Cranberry juice 1 oz Moscato 1.5 oz Kinky liqueur Top with Blood orange soda

Directions: Shake cranberry juice, Moscato, and Kinky liqueur in a mixer with ice. Strain into a champagne flute and top with blood orange soda. Garnish with some wax lips and pucker up, buttercup.

Silver Bullet (Wolfman shooter)

Ingredients: Creme de cacao Vanilla schnapps  Moonshine Sugar Edible silver powder Edible black powder

Directions: Rim a shot glass with sugar Add moonshine, creme de cacao, and vanilla schnapps. Add silver powder and a small dash of black powder. Stir and serve.

The Crypt Keeper (Tales from the Crypt cocktail)

Ingredients:  3 oz. Brandy 1 oz. Fresh lime juice 1 oz. Fresh lemon juice ½ oz. Honey whiskey Dash of Angostura bitters

Directions: Set a piece of paper on fire and place the glass over it so that it fills with smoke. Add brandy, juices, and whiskey to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into smoke filled glass. Top with a few drops of bitters.

Pennywise the Clown (IT cocktail)

Ingredients: 1 cup Cotton candy 1 cup Grape juice 2 oz. Raspberry liqueur 2 oz. Bubble gum vodka Maraschino cherry

Directions: Place cotton candy in a martini glass. Add grape juice, raspberry liqueur, and vodka to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain the cocktail over the cotton candy. Garnish with a maraschino cherry on a cocktail straw.

The Black Hills Legend (The Blair Witch Project cocktail)

Ingredients: ½ oz. Absinthe 2 oz. Mezcal (tequila) 1 oz. St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram 2 dashes Angostura bitters Rosemary sprig for garnish

Directions: Pour absinthe into a rocks glass. Swirl to coat, then discard. In a cocktail shaker, combine ice, mezcal, St. Elizabeth, and 2 dashes of bitters. Strain into rocks glass over ice. Add rosemary garnish. Light until smoking and serve immediately.

Micheal Myers (Halloween cocktail)

Ingredients: Pumpkin coffee 1.5 oz. Meyers Dark Rum 1.5 oz. Rum Chata Pumpkin whipped cream

Directions: Mix all liquid ingredients into a Irish coffee mug. Top with whipped cream.

The Upside Down (Stranger Things cocktail)

Ingredients: VINIQ Blue Curacao  Vodka Pomegranate juice Clementine vodka Strawberry liqueur

Directions: Carefully layer each ingredient in equal parts into a Snapshotr, closing the chamber after the plain vodka. Once layered, twist to release and mix the drink.

Zombie Brain Hemorrhage (Zombie cocktail)

Ingredients: ½ oz. Peach schnapps ½ oz. Irish cream ½ oz. Jager Dash of grenadine

Directions: Pour peach schnapps into a shot glass. Using a barspoon, layer the Irish cream on top. Drop a few drips of grenadine into the top so it pulls down the cream.

Ingredients: 6 oz. orange tangerine Juicy Juice 2 oz. lemonade 3 oz. Clementine vodka ½ tsp. Blue curacao 

Directions: Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker and shake. Strain over ice in a pint glass.
