I found out on Friday that I don't get paid for my new job until the 6th of May. This will be a total of nearly 10 weeks with no income. Yes, I've been working here and there, but the problem is that I've made about $600 over the last 8 weeks. So in other words: not enough to cover rent utilities phone internet etc etc etc. The GoFundMe for Cinnamon's vet visit went okay. I do have enough in it to get her in and get her rabies vaccine and potentially some other vaccines depending on where I go. I'm going to try something else for those of you who are not comfortable donating to a GoFundMe, I have added my pet supplies to my Amazon wish list. Please ignore the things below the pet supplies. I moved to another state. I became a funeral director. I got fired from my job few weeks ago oh, and just yeah? Things are a mess right now. So I'm going to go ahead and share my current gifundme. EVERYONE needs to have a plan. While it is especially important for people who are estranged from their legal next of kin please please please have these conversations with your loved ones. These are so important and the last thing your grieving family needs is to worry they aren’t respecting your wishes (burial or cremation? Do you want to donate your organs? Who do you want to give your belongings to? These are not intuitive concepts and your family will stress of getting it wrong) simply because they didn’t know them.

The Advance Healthcare Directive is SUPER important. Please make one and keep it updated (they expire every few years). If you are old, are disabled, have any mental health issues, engage in any form of self-harm, or have any history of suicidal ideation or suicide attempts, lots of healthcare folks are all too happy to declare you unfit to make decisions for yourself.
Remember that even if you trust them, the people who love you can make really extreme and harmful decisions when they’re scared they could lose you.
As a funeral director I can confirm and support this message wholeheartedly.

I have a lot of respect for the Punjabi institution of the Sikh Langar. Tens of thousands of people of all backgrounds have been fed good, fresh, complete meals every day for five hundred years, made entirely by volunteers, without a penny changing hands. An Interesting Fact About Peanuts, while we’re on the topic of food-plants:
