7. My top three characters are probably 1. Ty, for obvious reasons but mainly because he's just so precious to me. He cares so much but doesn't always know how to show it. He's fiercely loyal and devoted and stubborn as fuck. He represents the very best of autistic people. He's also kind of insane (affectionate) and we support that. 2. Kit because he's a acting fail loser (affectionate) but also quite capable and smart at times. He's so me coded in a lot of ways, especially when it comes to trauma. ADHD king. Bisexual disaster, we love to see it. He really said when shit gets real we bail, and honestly.... me too. Like if that isn't me, as much as I hate it then I don't know what is. And finally 3. Cristina, because she is a two my beloved, y'all deserve the world and more importantly a break. But she's such a personification of do no harm but take no shit. She is kind and want to do good, but will clock a bitch if she has to in order to protect the people she loves, as QOAAD has proven.

24. London, New York, or Los Angeles institute? Probably LA because I love LA, although it is hot as balls.

if u r trans no matter what ur agab and ur gender may be there is a good chance u will have a voice in ur head telling u that u need to lose weight to pass and to have people take u seriously . that is the voice of the DEVIL do NOT LISTEN TO IT !!!!

The “babygirlification” or “teenage-girlification” of characters such as Kendall and Roman Roy, Tom Wambsgans, Tony Soprano, Christopher Moltisanti, Don Draper, Pete Campbell, and Jesse Pinkman, while funny, is also a signifier of the genre’s woman problem. I understand that much of this trend is rooted in irony and I too as a 21 year old woman often say “He’s just like me” when referring to the aforementioned characters. But language trends are often revealing and given the lack of leading women in this genre, I think it reveals a lot. I find it ironic that people are more than ready to use “female language” for these characters when highlighting how sympathetic they are, but don’t lend that same sympathy toward their actual female counterparts. There’s clearly an understanding that being those things— a teenage girl, a babygirl, a girl in general— is hard and can cause a lot of pain, but somehow this understanding doesn’t translate onto the women on screen who actually go through this. [...] A woman is supposed to be impossibly good. She is meant to be your doting daughter, your loving wife, and your nurturing mother. When she falls out of line from any one of these things, she’s a bitch. A man could kill someone (this could be referring to a plethora of our beloved prestige TV male protagonists) and he’d still receive sympathy from viewers. For some reason (the reason is quite obvious) when women are morally grey, subtlety is completely lost.
sapphic books read in 2023 [1/?]: last night at the telegraph club by malinda lo.
> "Are you like the girls in the book too? Because I think I am."

queerness is not a plain pizza pie with a limited number of slices. it’s an entire pizzeria with multiple kinds of pizza pies, some with pineapples and some with veggies and some with pepperoni. and it’s also cloudy with a chance of meatballs style and giant pizza pies are falling everywhere!!!! and also we are the pizza slices. and also we’re all friends. and also I’m hungry so I don’t know if this metaphor actually makes sense.

people who like sex have pineapple on their pizza, I don't like pineapple

Yesterday, I was helping my friends sell art in the park, when a couple of girls came up to us and asked (immediately regretting it) “is this the transfem picnic?……..” to which we got to respond “no this is the transmasc yard sale.” We then proceeded to have 15-20+ beautiful women swarm our stand of 4 creatures. Life is beautiful.

i’m at the transmasc yard sale

i’m at the transfem picnic

i’m at the combination transmasc yard sale transfem picnic

THIS IS SO KIT TY TWP CODED

YOU’RE AS BEAUTIFUL NOW AS I THOUGHT YOU WERE THEN I WANT YOU KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU DONT MAKE ME SAY IT AGAIN

"And you'll glare at yourself in the mirror. They all know things you never will. They'll feel the things you can't access." THAT'S SO ND CODED IM DEAD.

It's literally them like omg

My very unpopular opinion apparently:

Straight cis perisex able-bodied neurotypical people using aids designed for disabled people (I.e weighted blankets, grabby claw, sock holder, etc), going to therapists occasionally to keep up their mental health, using fidget toys, choosing to call their bf/gf their partner, using pronouns besides the ones associated with their gender just because they like it, and doing a million other small things that make us fitting in and being accepted a little bit easier is in fact exactly the type of support these communities need, and will ultimately help us so much more than gatekeeping ever fuckin will

the idea that disabled and queer and intersex people are so incredibly Different than and Separate from other human beings that our needs could never be relatable to others or the tools or methods that we’ve developed to suit our needs could never benefit anyone else is inherently dehumanizing and othering.

gender is fake! all dichotomies are artificially imposed! you can be cis and perisex and still experiment with your gender presentation! what does being a perisex cisman or ciswoman mean to you?

life is difficult and exhausting! even if you’re abled, there is literally no reason to make things harder for yourself when there’s an easier way. why do cashiers have to stand on their goddam feet all day when they could be sitting down? why is avoiding unnecessary suffering considered something that should be reserved for disabled people?

the idea that you should be forced into doing stuff that’s stupid and artificially imposed on you like gender norms or unnecessary physical exertion because that’s Respectable and Moral is a mentality that has been normalized specifically to oppress the working class, and it weaponizes the threat of being included in the “othered” groups to keep people in line.

“why are you complaining about unlivable wages? what do want, handouts? what are you, disabled? can’t you provide for yourself and your family?”

“why are you not performing gender norms correctly? what are you, gay?”

we’re all human. we all have complex needs. sometimes our needs are going to differ, and sometimes they’re going to overlap--even with people who have different experiences than us. that’s not a bad thing!

i remember seeing a post (i think reposted from reddit?) of a cis man talking about how much knowing trans men has made him more confident in and proud of his masculinity because they taught him that it isn’t defined by other people: it’s his own.

and abled people could really learn something from the disabled wisdom that there is no moral value in hurting yourself to attain someone else’s expectations of “success.”

we can all learn from one another and grow together. that’s a beautiful thing. that’s what it means to be human!
