i'm confused about this years event lol
People salty over GWitch not ending with a high body count when it’s a loose adaptation of The Tempest, a story known for it’s happy ending lol
"biblical angels" you do realise there are angels in the old testament that are literally just regular looking guys, right? you do know that the hallucinogenic incoherent descriptions are in like. two books. and the rest of the time angels are just guys. you know that, right?
and I'm not saying don't have fun with weird angels. I'm saying, either the eldritch forms are for special occasions, or the society of the angels is Many-Eyed-Many-Winged-Interlocking-Circles, Four-Faces-Six-Wings, and Mike.
Literally Raphael is just a normal person!
this is what the heavenly breakroom is like
There’s 9 choirs of angels in total, only a couple of them look crazy
The Hagia Sophia has the crazy angels on it’s arches
isn't it like, the higher in the hierarchy the more human-like the angels look? or something of the sorts?
people can't talk to me about lord of the rings because as soon as they mention gandalf the grey and gandalf the white and monty python and the holy grail's black night benito mussolini and the blue meany
AND COWBOY CURTIS AND JAMBI THE GENIE
ROBOCOP, THE TERMINATOR, CAPTAIN KIRK AND DARTH VADER
LO PAN, SUPERMAN, EVERY SINGLE POWER RANGERS

Can someone who reads 'Boruto' explain what is going on? Did Sarada just get MS... because Naruto is in the other dimension? And because Kawaki is going mad...? Because Sasuke doesn't believe her? H-huh? What is the logic here.
ok so, a cyborg ninja lady with the blood of a alien god used her powers to gaslit the entire world into believing boruto killed naruto, but sarada and a few others were not affected
Sasuke however was and was following the rest of the village to hunt boruto
Sarada is at her limit because her friend just tried to kill her, the childhood friend is being chased out of the village for something he didnt commit, for all she knows naruto (her idol and inspiration for wanting to become hokage) might be dead (i dont think she knows hes in another dimension) and her dad was out to do a terrible mistake and kill his pupil.
The mangekyo is activated by extreme emotional stress like the death of someone close (itachi) or revelation of some kinda truth big enough to change ones worldview (sasuke), so i think is justified that the mangekyo manifesting for sarada was from her desperation of all mentioned above + wanting to convince her dad that things are wrong.
so tldr: stressed girl gets special eyes as is tradition but people are making a big thing out of it because no one in particular died for it to happen
my new poem got made into a vidya! * W * i proud
Quick KR Black Sun review (spoilers ofc)
it was ok. but god, the political storyline took so much time that could be used to explain stuff of the plot that never gets adressed: - what the heck are the kingstones? - what was the thing the whale dude used to heal black sun? - how did kaijin not know they were humans considering they never showed that kaijins have natural births or that kaijins were unknown to the public before ww2? - what was the importance of eclipse iconography (which ties back to what the heck are the kingstones) - why bilgenias kaijin form looks so cheesy? - why the heck shadow moon never get to use his cool sword? - and why did the writers think aoi becoming “pseudo-antifa-lets-make-child-terrorists” was a good idea?? - how can this series plot feel like it was both rushed and that it dragged at the same time??? - why does everyone in the 70s flashbacks wear such bad wigs???
Now for the positives: i loved the fight scenes, the practical effects and props were very well made (like the creation king being one big prop to be ripped off was great lol) and the intro to epi 10 was very good
overall i think i’ll give this a 6/10, slightly above average for the fights but muddled by questionable story choices and an ending that was mostly unsatisfying
Let's fucking go
Let's just wait to see if the US interferes...
Its only a matter of time before the USA sanctions and does a coup, like they did in Cuba when things went too well
you wanna put money on that?
do people really go 'times never change' at all times?
Or more, are they aware of the whole 'the Cuban coup was engendered by the mafia who were running cuban casinos and selling liquor during USA's prohibition, driving out legitimate business and making it so that lawyers like Fidel Castro were making more money working as a cabbie than they could in their own careers because of how the influx of us money was borking the cuban economy?'
'cause... ya know, it does matter when people know the conditions that built to certain world events.
...Are people here actually unaware that Lula is the US-backed (and narco-backed) candidate?
You mean she’s backed by the CIA? Well, as long as the Democrat Party also backs her, I’m sure it’s FIIIIIIINE.
The amount of people on here who unironically choose to never look into who they're supporting baffles me, just to get it out of the way, Lula is a man.
Lula was the Brazilian President from 2003-2010, his administration was plagued by numerous corruption scandals, notably the Mensalão scandal and Escândalo dos Sanguessugas in his first term.
The Brazilian attorney-general presented charges against 40 politicians and officials involved in the Mensalão affair, including several charges against Lula himself. He stated on Brazilian public television that he knew nothing about the scandals.
Top officials involved, such as Roberto Jefferson, José Dirceu, Luiz Gushiken and Humberto Costa have corroborated this; but one of his own party members, Arlindo Chinaglia, alleged that Lula had been warned about the matter.
Having lost numerous government aides in the face of political turmoil, Lula survived largely unscathed in the eyes of the public, with overwhelming approval rates.
His administration was heavily criticized for relying on local political barons, like José Sarney, Jader Barbalho, Renan Calheiros and Fernando Collor to ensure a majority in Congress.
Another frequent reproach was his ambiguous treatment of the left wing of the PT. Analysts felt that he would occasionally give in to left-wing calls for tighter government control on media and increased state intervention: in 2004, he pushed for the creation of a "Federal Council of Journalists" (CFJ) and a "National Cinema Agency" (Ancinav), the latter designed to overhaul funding for electronic communications. Both proposals ultimately failed amid concerns over the effect of state control on free speech.
Before a G-20 summit in London in March 2009, Lula caused an uproar by declaring that the economic crisis was caused by "the irrational behavior of white people with blue eyes, who before seemed to know everything, and now have shown they don't know anything."
When wanted Italian terrorist Cesare Battisti was arrested in Rio de Janeiro on 18 March 2007 by Brazilian and French police officers, Brazilian Minister of Justice Tarso Genro granted him status as a political refugee, a controversial decision which divided Italy and the Brazilian and international press.
On 5 February 2009, the European Parliament adopted a resolution in support of Italy and held a minute's silence in memory of Battisti's victims. On 18 November 2009, the Brazilian Supreme Court declared the refugee status illegal and allowed Battisi's extradition, but also stated that the Brazilian constitution gave the president personal powers to deny the extradition if he chose to, effectively putting the final decision in the hands of Lula.
Lula barred Battisti's extradition. On 31 December 2010, Lula's last day in office, the decision not to allow extradition was officially announced. Battisti was released on 9 June 2011 from prison after the Brazilian Constitutional Court denied Italy's request to extradite him. Italy planned to appeal to the International Court of Justice in The Hague. Battisti was extradited in December 2018.
Cesare Battisti (born 18 December 1954) is an Italian revolutionary, former member of the Armed Proletarians for Communism (PAC), a far-left militant and terrorist group which committed acts of illegality and crimes in Italy in the late 1970s during the period known as the "Years of Lead".
In 2014, Brazil began Operação Lava Jato (English: Operation Car Wash), resulting in several arrests and convictions, including nine suits against Lula.
In April 2015, the Public Ministry of Brazil opened an investigation into allegations of influence peddling by Lula, which alleged that between 2011 and 2014 he had lobbied for government contracts in foreign countries for the Odebrecht company and had also persuaded the Brazilian Development Bank to finance the projects in Ghana, Angola, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic.
In June 2015, Marcelo Odebrecht, president of Odebrecht, was arrested on charges that he had paid politicians $230 million in bribes. Three other company executives were also arrested, as well as the chief executive of Andrade Gutierrez, another construction conglomerate.
On 4 March 2016, as part of "Operation Car Wash", Brazilian authorities raided Lula's home. After the raid, the police detained Lula for questioning. A police statement alleged that Lula had collaborated in illegal bribes from the oil company Petrobras to benefit his political party and presidential campaign.
Prosecutor Carlos Fernando said, "The favors to Lula from big construction companies involved in the fraud at Petrobras were many and hard to quantify". Lula said that he and his party were being politically persecuted.
On 16 March 2016, Rousseff appointed Lula as her chief of staff, a position comparable to that of prime minister. This would have shielded him from arrest due to the immunity that went with the position.
Cabinet ministers in Brazil are among close to seven hundred senior government officials enjoying special judicial standing, which means they can only be tried by Brazil's Supreme Federal Court. Supreme Court Judge Gilmar Mendes suspended Lula da Silva's appointment on the grounds that Rousseff was trying to help Lula circumvent prosecution.
On 14 September 2016, prosecutors filed corruption charges against Lula, accusing him of being the mastermind or 'maximum commander of the scheme'. On 19 September 2016, 13th Circuit (Paraná) federal judge Sérgio Moro, who was leading the corruption probe, accepted an indictment for money laundering against Lula and his wife Marisa Leticia Lula da Silva. On 11 May 2017, Lula answered a summons by appearing in Curitiba and was questioned by Moro.
The closed-court hearing lasted five hours. Thousands of Lula supporters went to Curitiba, together with Dilma Rousseff. After the hearing, Lula and Rousseff gave speeches to his supporters; Lula attacked what he called bias in the Brazilian media.
Lula was found guilty by the lower court of accepting R$3.7 million in bribes ($1.2 million US) in the form of improvements to his beachfront house, made by construction company Grupo OAS [pt], which in turn received lucrative contracts from the state-owned oil company Petrobras.
Lula also faced other charges, including money laundering, influence peddling and obstruction of justice. On 12 July 2017, Sergio Moro sentenced Lula to nine and a half years in prison.
Lula remained free pending his appeal. Lula's lawyer accused the judge of bias and the judge replied that nobody, not even the former president, should be above the rule of law.
On 25 January 2018, the Appeal Court of Porto Alegre found Lula guilty of corruption and money laundering and increased his sentence to 12 years of prison for one of the nine charges, while the other eight were still pending. On 26 March 2018, that same court upheld its own sentence, thus ending the case in that court.
On 23 March 2021, the Supreme Federal Court ruled by a 3–2 decision that Moro, who had overseen Lula's trial in a case, was biased against him.
It upheld the ruling on 23 June by a 7–4 decision. Judge Gilmar Mendes of the Supreme Federal Court on 24 June annulled the two other cases Moro had brought against Lula, reasoning that there was a link between them and the case in which Moro was declared biased. This meant that all evidence Moro had collected against Lula is inadmissible in court and fresh trials would be needed.
Gilmar Mendes has been criticised by legal scholars and journalists for the opportunistic political motivations of his rulings, and mocked for his penchant for freeing powerful politicians suspected of corruption.
In 2009, fellow Justice Joaquim Barbosa confronted him during a televised session of the Court, comparing him to a local criminal leader who commanded "thugs".
Okay, so to sum it up, Lula is a Far Left politician, he has been involved in many scandals over the last 20 years, including being arrested during the CIA lead operation Car wash, however, due to the CIA's backing of him during this election cycle we can surmise he was never meant to be caught up in the scandal.
He or the CIA, also had the corrupt federal judge set him free, as he has done with many corrupt politicians in the past, and yes, Biden and of all people, Bernie Sanders are credited with helping Lula win, claiming if Trump were in office Biden couldn't have prevented Bolsonaro from "rigging" the election.
Because, as you know Biden has, in his own words, put together the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.

Well, I think when I first saw this post it was Noita which would be awful because of all the horrible monsters you fight underground but I just recently played and beat Dead Rising again so now my vacation spot would be the Willamette mall? Well, assuming my vacation happens far before or after the zombie outbreak, it wouldn’t be that bad since the mall seems pretty cool. If its during, well I am aware of the zombie’s weaknesses as well as where the safe house is so I could probably survive pretty well, also could just prevent the stupid old lady from letting all the zombies in so the mall doesn’t get flooded with them.
